The lantern exhibition is beyond words, the lion dance and Da Tiehua performances are very impressive!

Because I didn't want to squeeze into the Daguan Tower and I live close to this place, I took the kids there~ The so-called Zigong lantern exhibition was shockingly bad, leaving me burnt on the outside and tender on the inside. Personally, I found it very unimpressive to watch, and I think even twenty years ago it would have been considered a bit low 😅 However, the lion dance, fire dragon, and Da Tiehua performances were good, making the trip worthwhile! 👍 The lion dance, fire dragon, and Da Tiehua were all brought by 'Yunnan Lumuna Dragon and Lion', very professional, led by inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, truly skilled and spectacular. 🦁 There were four different lion dance shows, each with different content, but all were very exciting, and both adults and children found them very enjoyable, with the lion dancing very realistically and impressively. 🐉 The fire dragon performance was quite unique, with the latter part of the show featuring the dragon body emitting fireworks, which was beautiful. 💥 Although the Da Tiehua was not as spectacular as what I saw in Dunhuang, it was still a rare experience in Kunming. 🏮 Kunming Night Happy Season Spring Lantern Festival 📍 Yunnan Caixia Water Park (or: Leisure Time Camp Restaurant) 🅿️ Parking available 🗺️ Huanhu East Road 📌 Opposite to Artist Village District D (Southwest Gate) 🚉 Subway Metro Line 5 (Baofeng Station Exit D, Exit A) 🚌 Bus Peninsula Bus Yard (Routes 32, 53, 87, 252) Baofeng Metro Station (Routes 169, 209, K28, K31) Yunnan Artist Village Community (Routes Z95, Z96) ⚠️PS: Do not have high expectations for the lantern exhibition, because the quality is really not good 🚫 So if the transportation is inconvenient, or if it's far away and you need to make a special trip to see it, please think twice ‼️Tips: 🔅 Performances start at 20:00 every evening (occasionally there may be delays), lasting for 1 hour 🔅 Arriving a bit more than ten minutes early can secure a better viewing spot (directly in front of the performance area, not under the lantern sign or to the sides) 🔅 There are adult/children's amusement parks in the area (shooting, bumper cars, and a few other amusement facilities) 🔅 There are two restaurants in the area (Leisure Time Camp Restaurant, Stone Pot Fish) 🎟️ 39 RMB per person; children 10 RMB; seniors over 60 free; military concessions free, with one accompanying person half price at 20 RMB
