SEAESTA KOMODO HOTEL

The Seaesta is a modern and affordable hotel if you are looking for accommodation very close to the airport and only a few minutes to the main city and harbour. The building itself is very beautiful, the design and style is very cute. Lots of stairs but a bonus is the view from the rooftop pool. The staff at Seaesta were just amazing for our 4 nights, a big thank you to Charles who helped make our 2 year old toddler's stay so much fun. The food in the restaurant is delicious, every meal we had was great. We booked the biggest hotel room (there are only 2 deluxe rooms 105 & 205). The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. Excellent house keeping. Our only dislike was for the 'hotel' room, not having the standard stuff like a kettle to be able to make a cup of tea in the room. Everywhere you walk is very slippery, but that seems to be the case in many places we visited in Labuan Bajo as the floors are finished with polished concrete. Also twice the staff arranged drivers for us who didn't know where they were going & spoke very little English. We wasted a lot of time because of this. This is just a minor and mention to give honest feedback Lodging full of cool facilities for backpackers. Clean dorm rooms that are tidied up every day, towels are changed every day. Clean bathroom with soap available. Fast wifi both in the room and in the restaurant. Access near the airport is only about 10 minutes. Near the center and the harbor only 10 minutes walk. Provides Komodo tour or diving services. In the pool there are special towels that are clean and there is a shower to rinse. On certain nights at the bar there is live music.
