Grab a few drinks and food with a Fat Lizard

Fat Lizard is a brewery and restaurant located just near the Aalto University campus and metro station in Espoo. The story begins from the Brewery that was built to a garage in 2013. Little by little their reputation grew and they became more popular. The restaurant is part of this concept. They have adopted an unique brand and style including the policy of not making any compromises with the quality. That same policy can easily be felt when visiting the restaurant. The menu consists mainly of Asian and Italian style food. The taste of Asia is genuine and I was even a little surprised about that. There is also Wagyu Beef (if available at the moment) for the ones who enjoy high quality beef. The pizzas, they’re also one of the best ones I have had ever. The dough is just perfect and the ingredients are very distinct to this restaurant and they have done a good job with the food in general. The food is fairly expensive and the price doesn’t match with the portion size at all so you can’t really know how much you will get. In general the starters are fairly expensive and small but the main courses are reasonably priced. I definitely recommend you to visit this restaurant. It’s one of the best ones with friends in Espoo right now and it’s conveniently located just outside the Aalto University Metro station exit at Tietotie 1. There’s also a nearby brewery shop and tap room for those who want to come to taste the brewery products.
