Beijing Suburban Tour | Shuiyunjian, Langfang's Little Jiangnan Travel Guide

Southern little potatoes have sparked a craze in Harbin, and many Jiangnan-style water towns have also appeared in the north. For example, there's Gubei Water Town near Beijing, and today I visited Shuiyunjian in Langfang. For a one-day trip to Langfang, after visiting Longfu Temple, we came to our second stop in the afternoon—Shuiyunjian. Attraction Gameplay: Shuiyunjian is right next to the 'Dream of the Red Chamber Drama Fantasy City'. It looks a bit desolate in winter, with not much in the way of food and drink, and the street side is mostly private residences. The thick ice has also put a stop to water activities. But perhaps it is because it has not yet become mainstream and is still developing that it offers a rare quiet time. Coming here in the afternoon is perfect for taking photos. Strolling on the stone-paved road, climbing the steps, and imagining 'rowing a boat, listening to the rain sleep, a straw rain cape as a pillow in Jiangnan'. Transportation: Departing from Beijing, self-driving is recommended. Take the high-speed train from Beijing South to Langfang Station, then you can take a taxi for about 25 yuan or take bus No. 14 to Shuiyunjian. Food Recommendations: It's quite desolate in winter, with food options including several Shaanxi and Sichuan restaurants. Intimate TIPS: It's recommended to wait until the weather warms up a bit more, then the water boat activities will be available. Wearing Hanfu for photos is even more picturesque, and it will look better after the lights are on in the evening.
