Langfang's Big Buddha Zen Temple, a place for burning incense and worshiping Buddha

The Big Buddha Zen Temple is located in the north of Shengfang Ancient Town, formerly known as Beidasi, which was built in the late Yuan Dynasty, rebuilt in the first year of Ming Tianshun, and renovated in the fifth year of Zhengde. It has a history of over 600 years. It reached its peak in the Qing Dynasty, but was destroyed due to natural disasters and wars. The Big Buddha Temple was newly renovated in 2008, with a planned area of 80,000 square meters, including a building area of 28,000 square meters, and 23 large and small temple buildings. These buildings are well-arranged, majestic, with green bricks and tiles, or carved beams and painted pillars, and the golden and brilliant halls are dazzling.
