A beam of light shines into the greenhouse at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

On a rare sunny day, I made a spontaneous decision to visit Kew Garden (the Royal Botanic Gardens). The greenhouse closes at 5 pm, and with limited time, I still managed a quick tour of one of the glasshouses. Upon entering, a wave of moist air hit me, and even the camera lens fogged up due to the sudden change from cold to warm. The greenhouse gave me the feeling of a tropical rainforest, with flora from tropical and subtropical regions. The steel frame structure bore signs of age, and the spiral staircase wound its way upwards, with even the handrail patterns being exquisitely detailed, like an elegant elder.
