The Nantong Museum of Abacus, also known as the Museum of Ruyi Abacus

Nantong is a city known as the city of museums, with dozens of museums large and small. ⏰️Opening hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, with entry stopped after 4:30 pm. 🅿️Parking is available nearby and across the street. 🔸The museum is not usually crowded, so you can take your time with your children. Although it only covers about 30 acres, it has a rich collection and is the world's largest abacus-themed museum. 🔸The museum is divided into four parts: the preface hall, the history of abacus hall, the abacus boutique hall, and the rosewood abacus hall. The museum's collection includes: the loyal iron abacus, the Zhouyi Bagua copper abacus, tower-shaped and ladder-shaped wooden abacuses, court jade abacuses, all-crystal ancient abacuses, small decorative abacuses once worn by Qu Benqiao, ivory abacuses, pure gold miniature abacuses, silver ring abacuses, the nine-linked abacus of wealth, the fish-leaping dragon gate abacus, and the largest Ruyi auspicious jade abacus in China. 🔸The museum introduces the history of the abacus and some related stories, as well as many historical figures and books related to the abacus, which are very helpful for children to understand the knowledge related to the abacus.
