Lake Baikal ~ cool and warm pink

First impression of Irkutsk: there is no wind here, just solid cold. After dropping off my luggage, I walked to 130 Fengqing Street, passing through Lenin Street and Marx Street, the two most famous old streets that intersect in Irkutsk. The strong Russian style made me curious about everything on the street. Winter nights in Russia are long, with sunrise after 9 o'clock. Looking back, I was pleasantly surprised to find the sun and moon shining together. In the distance stands the magnificent Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, with its lovely orange and turquoise exterior walls. On the railing by the river, there are words carved and locks hung, all the children there are the same. Our Lady of Kazan Cathedral. I waited outside until all my friends went in and took pictures freely. I took this one and felt satisfied. Let's experience the Russian bus, squeeze into a warm carriage, bask in the afternoon sun and take a nap, and sway all the way to the Angara River. We cross half the city and return to Marx Street, then stroll to the park behind the Alexander III Monument, still by the Angara River. On the island, stay at a homestay run by Mongolian people, very close to the Shaman Stone on the northern route. Reluctant to leave, at the pink Lake Baikal. Before sunrise, the pink glow gently envelops the distant wide lake and mountains, making people's hearts soft. With the sunshine, we can finally see the blue ice! However, it snowed the day before, so the blue ice was hidden under a thin layer of snowflakes. We can drive directly to it, which is quite magical. A driver's license with an IAA international license is enough for driving and renting a car, and everything goes smoothly. Go to the Tarz Wood House Museum near the town, located on the banks of the Angara River.
