Pamukkale Travertines a unique side trip!

Next to the city of Denzil a 5-6 hour drive from Istanbul is Pamukkale. it is a quite town with not much going on but right next to it is a spectacular view. The Pamukkale Travertines are a natural wonder located in Denizli Province, southwestern Turkey. The travertines are a series of terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water of the hot springs.
