(Recently, Zhongba Forest Park has been somewhat controversial, with some people liking it and others not, and some complaining about the heavy filters. Just lower the exposure when taking photos with your phone to achieve such an effect). Suitable for: hiking beginners, photography enthusiasts, the elderly and children. If you want to experience hiking, there's no need to come here, as the whole park is not very big, and it takes about two hours to finish the whole visit. 1: Location: Zhongba Forest Park (free admission). 2: Driving: It takes 1.5 hours to drive from downtown Chengdu, and you can drive directly to the forest entrance (10 yuan parking fee). There used to be locals intercepting cars halfway, insisting on taking their vehicles to the forest (10 yuan per person), but now private cars can drive up freely. 3: Photography: About two or three hundred meters into the plank road, on the right-hand side, there is a staircase leading up the mountain. This path is especially good for taking photos, with tall trees on both sides. You must take pictures! In fact, anywhere in the entire forest is very photogenic. 4: Hiking: The main plank road in the middle takes about 20 minutes to walk, and then you can enter the forest from some of the side paths. The whole forest is not big, (there's no risk of getting lost, there's no need to download offline maps, it's not that complicated, just follow the stairs and you can walk back to the original place). My friends and I took our time walking and taking pictures, and it took us about two hours to finish the whole park, and then we went to Panlong Valley to see the waterfall. Little tips: 1: It's a bit cold on the mountain, be sure to bring a jacket. 2: Wear a pair of non-slip shoes. 3: Most of the time there is no network in the forest, and no food, so prepare your own food and water. 4: There are very simple toilets at the forest entrance (it is recommended to take care of it at the foot of the mountain before entering the forest). 5: You can take the elderly and children to play. 6: Navigation: Panlong Valley scenic area ticket is 10 yuan per person. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the entrance of the scenic area to the waterfall. The whole path is made of pebbles, and the last little bit requires climbing slightly higher steps.
