Discovered a hidden spot to see colorful forests for free in Mianyang

🚗 We left Chengdu the night before and stayed overnight in Jiangyou. We set off at 8 AM the next day, drove for 2️⃣ hours with smooth traffic (no jams even during the autumn holiday!!!) 📍 Navigate to Baxijia Ancient Village and park at the lot right at the entrance 📸 Walk up the mountain from Baxijia Ancient Village to take photos—you must hike here! The further you go, the more beautiful it gets! You can even see snow-capped mountains 🏔️ inside The view from the ancient village is better than the Tianmu Lake viewing platform, especially when going uphill!! No need to go to the national highway on the other side of the lake; people just watch from the roadside there, which is less comfortable and safe (lots of cars) It’s still peak colorful forest season! Hurry up and enjoy it!
