the biggest Confucius Temple in China

located in Qufu county, Shandong Province, the Temple of Confucius (Kong Miao 孔庙) is the biggest Confucius temple in China and was converted from Confucius’s former residence in 478 BC the following year after his death. It is a huge architectural complex, most buildings were works from Ming & Qing Dynasties. The houses, rooms, and courtyards are impressive with the traditional Chinese decorative elements of yellow glazed tiles, red-painted walls, and green trees. Tip for photo shooting: be the first one to go inside! Buy the entrance ticket online (foreigners can do that) and wait in line…30min before the opening already lots of people waiting. #fallingforfall #tripblazers #mytripvlog #lucaworldtraveler
