Virgin Carmen fiesta

This is the central town church set in the very city center by a beautiful plaza. It has a nice tall clock tower belfry and that's almost the only thing we could see. The church was surrounded and blocked with hundreds of people on 16 July when we visited. Reason - the Virgin Carmen festival when from this Church the Virgin is escorted through town down to the beach to set sail into the ocean. I could only see a fragment of the beautiful altar, but the whole impression of that day was overwhelming. #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches
