Michelin Guide Ramen In San Francisco

I travel, partly to explore other countries and to be exposed to their cultures but on another part, I travel also because I love food! In San Francisco, I had the opportunity to try Mensho Tokyo Ramen which was highly recommended on the Michelin Guide, so of course I had to go try it. Most ramen i have tried are tonkatsu soup base but at Mensho Tokyo Ramen, they are mainly creamy chicken soup. I had their famous tori paitan Ramen with char siew ($18.50USD) and I am instantly loved it after my first mouth. The chicken broth was rich, the noodles had the right texture and everything just blends in nicely with the garnish and fried burdock root. If you would like to try their Ramen, I suggest going early as queue can be as long as an hour plus. The restaurant is not very big and seating can be squeezey. I guess everyone wants something soupy and comforting, plus their price range is pretty affordable. If given a chance, I wouldn't mind flying back to San Francisco next year, just for this bowl of delicious ramen. Trust me, it is way too delicious! #2023travelwish
