Northwestern Sichuan | Huanglong's Unmissable Colorful Ponds

The most famous attractions in the Huanglong Scenic Area are the Huanglong Temple and the extremely famous calcified colorful ponds. Although May has just passed the dry season and the water has not yet fully filled up, it is still very beautiful ❤️ The entire scenic area is well-equipped. Basically, you take a cable car to the top of the mountain and then walk a flight of stairs to reach Huanglong Temple. Walking slowly and taking photos along the way is not tiring at all. On the way back, you can walk down the mountain, which takes about two hours. If time does not permit, you can also take the scenic area's cable car back the same way. ❄️ It's hard to imagine that in May, the entire mountain area is still covered with snow, making for very photogenic scenes.
