Taizhou Naval Warship Culture Park

I had known about the existence of a naval warship culture park in Taizhou two years ago, but for various reasons, I never had the chance to visit. It wasn't until the day before yesterday that I finally got to see the long-awaited warship park. Setting out from Yangzhou, it took about an hour and a half to drive there. Along the way, we passed by several shipyards, which made me marvel at the advanced state of the shipbuilding industry. Upon arriving at the park, the first thing that caught my eye was the largest of the four warships, the 881 Hongze Lake ship. As China's first generation of indigenous comprehensive supply ships, its most distinct feature compared to other warships is the three huge 'gantry cranes' used for supplying other ships. The 881 ship is the most accessible of the three surface warships, allowing visitors to see the captain's rest room and more, but the top level is still closed off. I look forward to it being open for visits in the future. The other two ships, the Xining and the Xiamen, are basically only open for visits to the deck and the level above and below. The related weapons and communication equipment have been mostly dismantled, leaving only a few anti-aircraft guns. The most impressive was the 274 submarine. I was shocked when I saw the hatch to enter the ship. I am quite slim, but it was still somewhat difficult to get inside the submarine, which is crammed with countless valves and instruments. After the visit, sitting on the deck of the Xining ship, touching the steel beast in front of me, I felt as if I could sense the majestic presence it once had while patrolling the waters of our motherland. It reminded me of the recent event where the 055-class Nanchang ship stood alone against an entire American aircraft carrier fleet without falling behind. I wish for the prosperity of our country and peace for its people!
