Wat Chonthara Singhe, Tak Bai District, Narathiwat Province

Today, this temple signifies that this area belongs to Thailand. When the territories were divided, Tak Bai District had a Buddhist temple, so this area was considered part of Thailand. The temple is located near the Tak Bai district center. Observing the structures within the temple, the architecture seems to lean towards Mon style. The day I visited was a Buddhist holy day, and the people making merit had powdered faces like the Mon people. There was also a market selling goods. If you walk to the end of the riverbank, there is a sign marking the southernmost border of the Gulf of Thailand where you can take a commemorative photo. This is probably the southernmost temple I've visited. 🥰 P.S. The atmosphere is safe and worry-free.
