Just as Macau's Ruins of St. Paul's was the only remaining faade of St. Paul's Cathedral after a fire, the Celsus Library had a fire and caused most of the building to be destroyed. Now we can only see the facade of this library. Moreover, this faade was actually restored later, but due to the success of this restoration project, the existing facade of the Celsus Library has been considered a very real historical building.
