Washington's Central Railway Station: Union Station is also a worthwhile building. It is about 20 minutes from Capitol Hill. It is the exchange point for many subways in Washington. It is also the largest hub for trains and coach stations. There are countless tourists everywhere. This line is in a hurry and is the largest and most representative Central Station in the United States. The station has a huge internal space and it has become a huge shopping mall. The dome is based on the vault design of the Roman Diocletian Baths and is made of grooved fireproof tiles. The Union Station was commissioned in 1908 and was the largest railway station in the world at the time. It is now the headquarters of Amtrak, the national railway passenger transport company. However, the joint station with a long way to go can not escape the fate of the decline. The decline and disrepair after the Second World War caused a large-scale collapse here. The subsequent renovation project continued until 2016. During Christmas, there is a huge Christmas tree on the inner square of the station. From the second floor, you can enjoy the dome design from a close distance. It is said that the original tile is covered with gold foil on the concave surface! After the refurbishment, the internal walls were all painted white.
