Wuyi Mountain, a place of incomparable beauty

🔥How should one enjoy Wuyi Mountain? Wuyi Mountain is truly beautiful, with many local snacks and impressive performances. In short, it comes highly recommended for its beauty, fun, and food. 🚄Transportation 1️⃣Take the high-speed train to Nanping City Station, where you can catch a light rail to the south entrance of Wuyi Mountain, which takes about 40 minutes, and the scenery along the way is very beautiful. 2️⃣Wuyi Mountain North Station: It takes about 30 minutes by taxi to the south gate. 3️⃣Wuyi Mountain is a rather large scenic area with many spots to visit. There are convenient shuttle buses between each spot, so it's advisable to buy a combined ticket for the bus and bamboo raft. 🏠Accommodation It's recommended to stay in the Sanggu Holiday Area, which is about 2 kilometers from the south gate of the scenic area. The old street there has many dining options, which is very convenient. 🍽️Dining I highly recommend the smoked goose, which I ate for 3 days straight without getting tired of it. I tried both Aliange and Shen Dama's, and I recommend Shen Dama's more because their meat is more flavorful. It's not recommended for those who prefer lighter tastes. I also tried two popular restaurants, Da San Wan and Friendship Xiaochao. I recommend Da San Wan more, as the taste is slightly better. Recommended dishes are stir-fried taro silk, sauerkraut fried bamboo shoots, and water buffalo beef. Honestly, the red-eye fish is really average and also quite expensive. There are many snacks on the old street at night, I recommend the Guang Bing and sour bamboo shoot xiaolongbao. ⛰️Attractions 1️⃣Tianyou Peak: Not very high but a bit steep, it takes about 2-3 hours. The view of the Nine Bend River from halfway up the mountain is very beautiful. 2️⃣Rock Bone Flower Fragrance Trail: Worth visiting, it takes about 3 hours to complete, is 4.5 kilometers long, and features various landscapes, including wooden frames on cliffs and a narrow path to heaven. You need to transfer at Wuyi Palace and take a direct ride to Dahongpao, then follow the signs to the narrow path to heaven. 3️⃣Nine Bend River Rafting: Takes about 1.5 hours, the scenery along the way is picturesque, the boatman will explain, and in calm areas, tourists are allowed to pole for photos, which costs 20 yuan per person. 4️⃣Dahongpao Performance: Opinions vary online, but I recommend it because it was my first time seeing such a natural landscape performance, and the 360-degree rotating seats were impressive. 5️⃣Baiyun Zen Temple: A temple on the mountain outside the scenic area, from which you can look down. The food on Song Street is not good, and it's not recommended to go specifically to A Narrow Path to Heaven and the Dahongpao Mother Tree.
