Beidu Iron Tower in the Xixian New District of Shaanxi

Beidu Iron Tower, also known as the Thousand Buddha Iron Tower, Thousand Buddha Tower, Fuchang Temple Tower, is located in Beidu West Village, Beidu Street, Airport New City, Xixian New District, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. It was built from the 33rd year of Ming Wanli (1605) to the 38th year of Ming Wanli (1610), and was later destroyed and repaired. The Beidu Iron Tower is an octagonal nine-story pavilion-style iron brick structure, composed of three parts: the tower base, the tower body, and the tower brake, 33 meters high, with 9 floors and a bottom edge length of 2.42 meters. The tower is cast with pure iron on the outside and brick on the inside, with doors or windows on each floor. There are brick steps on the first to third floors, and the 'wall folding up style' can be climbed to the top floor above the third floor. The ninth floor is cast as a whole. The four corners of the tower are cast with Vajra warriors, and more than ten small iron Buddhas are arranged around each floor. The tower body is covered with thousands of large and small Buddha statues, and there are strange flowers and plants, rare birds and beasts cast between the Buddha statues.
