Yunnan Yuanyang Rice Terraces are a spectacular wonder of agricultural civilization created over more than 1300 years by generations of the Hani people, utilizing the unique geographical climate. In 2013, it was inscribed on the World Heritage List, with a core area of 170,000 mu, and its scale is extremely large. World Heritage core 𝟯 major scenic areas: ❶ Bada Scenic Area: Includes Qingkou, Quanfuzhuang, Malizhai, and other contiguous 14,000 mu of rice terraces. ❷ Laohuzui Scenic Area: Includes Mengpin, Dongpu, Baoshanzhai, and nearly 6000 mu of rice terraces. ❸ Duoyishu Scenic Area: Includes Duoyishu, Aichun, Dawazhe, and other contiguous tens of thousands of mu of rice terraces.
