Yuanyang terraced fields is a general term, there are several terraced fields and many viewing platforms inside. It is recommended to squat at least one afternoon and sunset + one sunrise and morning, so that you can see the main viewing points and the best time periods. Note that taking pictures of terraced fields is very time-consuming, generally from dusk to sunset, and from sunrise to around 12 noon. Also, please prepare a telephoto lens or a mobile phone that can take telephoto shots. Here are a few viewing platforms, in no particular order: 1. Aichun Blue Terraced Field (Pictures 1-3). Highly recommended. The best time is from 8-10 am on a sunny day. The blue color is a reflection of the sky. After 11 o'clock, the sun is too high and the color will weaken. Parking is convenient. Going down the terraced field will cost money, 5 yuan per person, and may be charged twice. 2. Duoyi Tree Terraced Field (Pictures 4-6). Highly recommended, and the sunrise here should not be missed. It is recommended to stay here for one night, preferably with a room that can directly see the terraced fields. Because there are many people watching the sunrise at the viewing platform in the morning. Parking is available on the roadside. 3. Azheke Village (Pictures 7-12). Highly recommended. The houses in the village are quite distinctive, but the best thing is that the colors of the terraced fields here are very rich. The color saturation is high around 11-12 o'clock. Parking is relatively easy, 4. Bada Viewing Platform (Pictures 13-15). Recommended. One of the main points to watch the sunset. It's also what I think is more appropriate. Mainly because it's easy to park and not tiring. There is a cafe in the scenic area, with food and drink, you can wait for the sunset. But I still recommend using a drone to shoot, there are too many people on the viewing platform. 5. Tiger Mouth Terraced Field (Picture 16). Not recommended. There are police cars driving around not allowing parking on the roadside. The viewing platform is far from the terraced fields and you can't see much. Going down to the viewing platform requires a long distance down the mountain, and then turning back... it's very tiring. If you want to see, it is also recommended to watch the sunset. 6. Eagle Mouth Terraced Field (Pictures 17-18). Not recommended. The terraced fields themselves are quite beautiful, with many red pools (similar to Azheke). But the road to the terraced fields is extremely difficult to walk, and you will pass through a village with extremely chaotic traffic. The viewing platform is not well built, just look at the edge of the cliff. Non-photography enthusiasts can skip it. The main ones are these. Duoyi Tree, Bada, Aichun, and Azheke are very close, you can watch the sunset at Bada. The next day, watch the sunrise at Duoyi Tree, and then go to Aichun and Azheke. There is also a place called Dawazhe, which is also for watching the sunset.
