Soaring down from the sky and sprinkling with the wind, the Dalongqiu Waterfall is the highest in China

Entering the lush Yandang Mountains, the peculiar peaks and rocks here vary greatly, such as the Mast Peak, the Flag Peak, and the Bamboo Shoot Peak, which inevitably remind you of the classic line of poetry 'Viewed from the side it's a ridge, while from the end a peak; different heights and distances make each view unique.' It can be said that every mountain has its own story. It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, the Western Region monk Nuonena, admiring the beauty of the 'flower village and bird mountain' of Yandang Mountain, brought three hundred disciples here to promote Buddhism and was honored as the founding patriarch of Yandang Mountain. During the Song Dynasty, Yandang Mountain was further developed, with eighteen temples, ten monasteries, and sixteen pavilions built, enjoying a period of great prosperity. Soon we arrive at the Dalongqiu Waterfall, which originates from Baigangjian, flows through Longqiu Back, and cascades down from Lianyun Peak. Moreover, it varies with the seasonal rainfall. In spring and summer, it resembles the Milky Way falling from the sky, plunging straight into the pool; in autumn and winter, it's like a curtain of pearls hanging high, fluttering with the wind. With a vertical drop of 190 meters, it is known as the highest waterfall in China and is listed among the four great waterfalls of China, alongside the Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou, the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River, and the Diaoshuilou Waterfall in Heilongjiang. At the bottom lies a pool of crystal-clear water that brings a hint of coolness in the hot weather. Resting here for a moment, one can enjoy endless comfort.
