Three Sisters walk Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Throwback 2016!
This is a throwback post for my Sydney trip in September 2016. It was a very memorable trip for me since its was my first time travelling and staying alone. Visited the famous "Three Sisters Walk" located at one of the Blue Mountains and the view was amazing! The air was so fresh but slightly cold. Scenic Railway Blue Mountains is a must take ride over there as it have a measure of 52-degree incline (128% incline) which will make you have butterflies fluttering in your stomach! If you are a seafood lover, Sydney Fish Market would be a perfect place for you. With lots of seafood options but do take note it's kind of pricey?
Both gorgeous and iconic, it's a view worth seeing. I also recommend hiking over to touch the closest of the Three Sisters - it's not a difficult hike if you don't have mobility issues and it's gorgeous and scenic and whole walk. #wintergetaway

Blue Mountains Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The Great Blue Mountains-Three sisters
The Great Blue Mountains National Park is located in the West of Sydney, with a distance around 63km.
It is famous for the three sisters' rock. These three peaks are intimately connected, like three sisters next to each other. They seemed so close and harmonious.
The Blue Mountains get their name from their color. Because there are so many eucalyptus trees in Australia, the gas they give off makes the canyon seems to shrouded by a blue haze.
The park also has cable car, small train, walking trails, and a fantastic viewing platform. I highly recommend you guys to take a visit.

Adventures at Blue Mountains
Beautiful landscapes at Blue Mountains. Located a few hours away from Sydney (by train), it’s an amazing place for you to take a day trip out and wander around taking in the sights. Take a photo with the Three Sisters, catch a bird’s eye view of Orphan’s Rock or descend down into the Jamison Valley through the railway at Scenic World. Alternatively, you can venture around the area on foot by embarking on one of the many hikes in the area. After a day of exploring, head into the town with its chill vibes, quaint corners, and great food! You’ll definitely won’t regret making the trip down to Blue Mountains!
China’s hidden treasures
Known as the rainbow mountain, this unique eco-system and national park is magnificent and gorgeous, with colors ranging from light yellow and brown to bark red and even dark blue! Isn’t it magical?

Scenic World Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Scenic World
#australiatrip
Scenic World offers a stunning glimpse into the heart of the Blue Mountains. Lush greenery and breathtaking views greet visitors from the moment they arrive. The Scenic Railway, the world's steepest, is a thrilling adventure that takes you down into the heart of the Jamison Valley. Scenic World is also a great place to learn about Australia's rich history, including the Katoomba Coal Mine. Keep an eye out for the beautiful Wentworth Falls while you're exploring the various walking trails. Whether you're a nature lover, a history buff, or simply looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, Scenic World is a must-visit.

Riding the steepest passenger railway
The original railway was built in the late 19th century to serve the Katoomba coal mine. Acquired by the Hammon family in 1945, it has operated for tourists for over 70 years thrilling 25 million passengers.
Passengers can choose their level of adventure, adjusting their seated position up to 20 degrees. Choose CLIFFHANGER at a steep 64° incline; LAIDBACK for a more relaxed journey; or for loyal fans, ORIGINAL at 52°.
I tried all 3 and I loved the cliffhanger a lot. A tip would be to check the weather before heading there because we went there when it is rainy which makes it difficult to see the views.

I would love to visit Hong Kong to see all the beautiful views!
Worth going if you're going to Blue Mountains
Since we have elderly and kids with us on our recent trip to the Blue Mountains, the must go spot would be the Scenic World. They have railway trains, skyway tram and cable cars to offer different views of the Blue Mountains. The walkways are very kid/elderly friendly as well. When we were there, they were doing a walkway full of dinosaurs and the kids loved it!

Sydney Opera House Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Night stroll at Sydney Harbour 🚶🌕
As the city winds down and you are feeling full from your dinner, what can you do in Sydney? Take a night stroll to the Sydney Opera House!
If you visit it at night, you can see the ever changing light projection on the iconic sails of the opera house glow softly against the dark sky. It really casts a magical aura over the surroundings.
As I strolled along the waterfront, the gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore provided a soothing backdrop to the twinkling lights of the city skyline. Every corner I turned revealed a new perspective of this architectural marvel.
Looking across the harbour, you will also be able to catch the light projections on the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge as well. Pausing to take in the view, I felt a sense of relaxation wash over me, as if the world had slowed down just for that moment. It was a fantastic chance to appreciate the grandeur of one of the Sydney’s most famous landmarks in the cool autumn night.

Visiting Sydney doesn’t feel complete without taking a picture infront of the Opera House. Many visiting this area for the 20th century architecture. The view are spectacular as it is surrounded by the sea, many giant ships easily sight here as well which is something different than the usual. Apart for sight seeing, it’s super convenient to get a bite as well because many restaurants were available in the area. It will be busy during the day but in early morning it was less crowded.
