Sydney Fish Market Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Taste of the Ocean 🌊 @ Sydney Fish Market
Straight off my flight, I headed to Sydney Fish Market to grab some lunch. Stepping foot in the market, the bustling atmosphere and the aroma of fresh seafood made me eager to explore this place.
As I walked past the colorful stalls, you cannot help but feel amazed by the variety of fish, oysters, lobsters, shellfish etc on display. Choosing what to eat was both fun and challenging, with so many delicious options to consider.
I finally settled on some oysters and a mixed variety of sashimi. I savoured every bite, enjoying the flavors of the ocean. Sitting by the water, watching the boats go by, added to the charm of the meal. But do watch out for those pesky seagulls that are always on the lookout for the next opportunity to pounce on your meal!

Just writing this gets me excited!!!

Sydney Fish Market - Sydney, Australia
Sydney Fish Market is the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Located in the Pyrmont neighbourhood of Sydney, it’s a must-visit destination for seafood lovers!
The market has over 100 different species of seafood which are sourced from sustainable and responsible fisheries. You can also find ranges of deli items, fresh products and specialty goods in the market.
Beyond shopping, it’s one of the best seafood dining experience in Sydney. Though it can be very crowded most of the time, but I would highly recommend sitting at the outdoor seating area as it provides a stunning view of the harbour.
They are open daily from 7am to 4pm, and I highly recommend you to visit Sydney Market when you’re there!

The famous Sydney Fish Market
If you like seafood, you must visit the famous #sydney fish market where you can sample a wide array of fresh seafood from all over Australia and around the world. Do check it out if you are there for a #holiday
There are many stalls to choose from and the prices are prominently displayed. There are also attached restaurants upstairs if you prefer a more elegant dining experience, otherwise there are plenty of outdoor seats where you can enjoy your seafood meal, however it gets crowded on weekends so do plan your trip carefully if you don’t want to jostle with the crowds. The seafood is of great value and lobsters can be much cheaper there compared to restaurants.
You can access the market via buses or trains that stop nearby.

Caught ferry from Circular Quay. Enjoyed the museum. It was great being able to board a submarine and the other vessels that are moored there.
A great place to spend a few hours, especially with kids. There are 4 different ships on the water that one can go on and explore, including a submarine - HMAS Onslow. In the actual museum, the exhibits are detailed
Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)

Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour firework at Sydney, Australia
ibis Sydney Darling Harbour
Standard Room 1 Queen Bed Pyrmont View
Peter's Sydney Fish Market Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Peter's Sydney Fish Market 🐟
If you have never been to Sydney's fish market, then you odd to, the time you're in Sydney. The fish market is very different from our local wet market that we know. The place was dry, clean and the floors are definitely not splashed with water and ice all over. There were many shops that you could bought your seafood from and there were proper seats and tables where you can eat your seafood at.
The shop that I patronized at Sydney's fish market is called Peter's. The store sells one of the freshest seafood and the price was reasonable. I am glad the staff were also friendly and kind and they will help you pick the nicest and freshest catch of the day. You can choose to have your seafood in sashimi style, you can have freshly shucked oysters, fried fish, etc. Go early to Peter's Sydney fish market, you will love the atmosphere and energy here. It's boisterous and bustling with people and tons of fresh seafood to try and see.

Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Valentines Hotel
Address - Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough
Ambiance/Facilities - Hotel
Highlights - Nice and comfy for valentines
Avg. Price per Person - 130 for night
Rating - 4/5
Arrive in Sydney and stay at the Oaks Oaks Castle Hotel, just across the street from the bustling Darling Harbour and a few minutes walk from the Sydney Fish Market. The lush shades and conspicuous appearance highlight the glory of this landmark building. More than two hundred years ago, it was a famous wool factory, and it has become a home for countless travelers to stop. The public part of the hotel still retains a lot of styles in the old building period. The rooms are very modern and simple apartments. The bedroom bathroom living room kitchen is divided into separate partitions. All kinds of laundry and ironing utensils are very complete, more like returning to the journey. Family. The living room window is facing the Sydney Tower, blending modernity with the old, but pushing the distance of a door. A hotel with a story is always worth remembering!
