Hatten Hotel offers an excellent location, conveniently situated right next to large shopping malls and within easy reach of many attractions. Jonker Street is only about a 10-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the main tourist spots. There is also an abundance of good food options around the hotel, so dining is never an issue. The morning buffet provides a reasonable spread and is sufficient to start the day well. Overall, a comfortable stay with great accessibility.

I was attending my uni friends wedding at Melaka. Together with me was my boyfriend and one of our friend. We booked deluxe two bedroom suite. If there is any signage outside will be better for us to confirm the location, we were checked with the security guard to ensure the hotel location. It was beside the Countyard. The living room was surprisingly large. It also included a microwave for some food heat up. And the nearby convenience store 7-11 was within 6 mins (walking distance) from the hotel. Thinking that by providing a disposable slippers would have been helpful, as the floor felt cold with the air conditioning on.

I stayed at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka and overall the experience was quite disappointing. The minibar fridge in the room was empty and not functioning properly. The bathroom drainage was clogged, causing the water to drain very slowly and leading to flooding during showers. As a Muslim guest, I was also disappointed that there was no Qibla direction provided in the room, which is something even other hotels such as Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur offer. The corridor outside the room was quite noisy, which affected our comfort. The elevators were extremely slow and required a very long waiting time. Parking was another major issue as it was often full, making it very inconvenient for guests. The children’s swimming pool is shared with guests from the adjacent building, making it overcrowded and uncomfortable, with too many people and mixed behavior. It would be better if the hotel did not share the pool facilities. Breakfast was not bad, however the selection for children was very limited, with only cereal available. Overall, the hotel has potential, but several areas need serious improvement to ensure a more comfortable stay for families and Muslim guests.

Location: Near to tourist attraction, can easily get grab car to jonker street, distance about 5 min, rm5 fee Room: Clean and big, very convi to arrange our luggages, bed is soft like 5 star standard Service: Some front counter staffs are not helpful, as tourists, we ask questions like how to go nearby attractions, they answer us impatiently, a male staff even show sour face when i ask him about the parking payment, housekeeping also very slow responde when we need help about the safety box usage.

The hotel is located in the middle of Melaka, but there are not many activities nearby. There is a river cruise within walking distance, but I didn’t try it. We only used the water taxi, which was cheaper, to travel from Jonker Walk back to the hotel. The food selection is limited—just enough to fill your stomach, but not much variety. I was quite disappointed with the coffee machine; the coffee is too light, and even the Americano is not strong. The lift is annoying, as the waiting time is very long when going up or down. and the sticker make it confusing to search for number, and screen didn't show which floor when lift stop. need to upgrade or do something ,the lift waiting time is very poor. The lifts are frequently full. At times, we opted to use the stairs due to long waiting times; however, the stairwell is dull and gives an uncomfortable feeling. My kids loved the pool, but it needs maintenance. I noticed some broken tiles, which could potentially cause injuries to children. The room is just nice. I booked a studio suite, and the toilet has transparent glass. In our room, the glass was blurry, but you can still see shadows. I asked the receptionist about the Premier room, and they mentioned that it is not even blurry—it is fully see-through. I think the hotel should consider installing a curtain or proper covering for the bathroom, as this can be quite inconvenient when traveling with family.

A quiet hotel, away from town. Restful. I enjoyed the showervery much and had a good bath. But.. The toilet bad odour (especially from toilet bowl) is true as per reviews posted by many customers. I hope hotel can do something to get rid of the bad odour from the sewage. The air-conditioning sound is very loud is true as per reviews by many customers. Light sleepers may be affected.

The parking lot is behind the hotel. It would be great if they offered valet parking. Luckily, there's a side door from the hotel that leads directly to the parking lot. The room facilities are quite new and have a strong local flavor. It overlooks the Melaka River cruise, and the view isn't as good as the Dusit Thani Princess next door, which faces the sea. The TV, however, is a bit old-fashioned. Both the pool and gym are very small, barely better than nothing, but the gym environment is quite good. Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM. We went at 10 AM, and the breakfast staff were incredibly impatient. I also mentioned this in my subsequent hotel review: if they don't want to serve breakfast guests at 10 AM, they should just say so, rather than making guests face their bad attitudes. Breakfast is à la carte with unlimited ordering. We, as a couple, ordered four dishes plus one dessert. The presentation was terrible; the plates were oily when they were brought out. We were very disappointed with the breakfast. The front desk service was decent, but it took a while to process the parking ticket when we were leaving. Perhaps the staff weren't very familiar with the operation, or the system was slow. It's worth staying for one day to experience the Melaka charm, but don't expect much from the hotel's facilities and services.

Great location, fun family room, but noisy at night The location is excellent — very close to major tourist attractions such as Christ Church Melaka, Stadthuys, and Jonker Street. St. Paul’s Hill/Church is also within walking distance. The area is surrounded by many great food options, making it very convenient for sightseeing and meals. The room itself is fun and family-friendly, with a slide that the kids loved. The room is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a family of five, which is a big plus. However, the soundproofing could be improved. We could clearly hear footsteps and kids running from other rooms, especially in the evenings. There were nights when the noise continued until around 11pm, which made it a bit challenging to rest early. Overall, a good stay for families who value location and a playful room setup, but light sleepers may want to take note of the noise issue.

good to be back here after a while. but the toilet irritates me. the water stagnates on the floor and cannot flow into the drainage as it should, the beds are not comfortable enough, problems also occurred when i want to empty the water in the bath tub - the scrubber problematic. I was given the room number 1403.

🌟 Review: The Rosa Malacca – Style, Comfort, and Great Service The Rosa Malacca offers a truly memorable stay, distinguished by its fantastic industrial-chic interior design and excellent ambiance. The entire hotel maintains a good vibe, from the striking common areas to the comfortable Bica & Co Cafe. Our room was a highlight, feeling spacious and meticulously clean. The powerful air conditioning provided a perfect escape from the Melaka heat, ensuring total comfort and a great night's sleep. Beyond the aesthetics, the service and security were top-notch. The hotel implements good security measures throughout the property, giving guests peace of mind. Furthermore, the entire staff was exceptionally helpful, offering genuine Malaysian hospitality that enhanced our entire trip experience. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly made the stay seamless and enjoyable. We were thoroughly impressed by this boutique hotel. The blend of bold, unique design and highly functional features—like the spacious, clean rooms, comfortable café, and reliable service—makes The Rosa Malacca a standout choice. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melaka who is looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-managed base.

Nnurul9989Booked a total of 4 Rooms (Double Queen Beds) for 2 nights. I've specifically requested accessible rooms for OKU & near to lift, but instead getting normal rooms. It's not OKU friendly, can't fit the wheelchair for the toilet & shower, the floor is slippery. No OKU chair/seat. 1 of the rooms with missing padded cushions of the sofa, we can't even sit. Another room is blackout numerously due to wiring issues. The round table inside the room is too bulky. Some of the rooms have poor lighting (probably the low power rating of down lights. Great food selections but need to improve on the taste especially sambal, beef rendang is tough, roti canai, nasi goreng, mee goreng it just tastes plain. Luv the Teh Tarik, and they have mascot appearance for kids & clowns giving away balloons. I was made to understand that more than 1100 guests on Saturday & Sunday, 950 guests on Monday. But it's such a bad experience during registration from the front desks. My ankle fractured, had to stand with long Que. No express lane for elderly, OKU or pregnant ladies. During my stays in Sept, it was Club Deluxe 2 Queens and I didn't realized my bookings in Dec is not ”club type”. When I want to upgrade they are not so keen, said I've shld book directly to Park Royal website. They keep on emphasized, because you are booking under Trip, ur not entitled for Club lounge. With the help of customer service of Trip, the hotel verbally informed to add RM200 per adults and RM100 per child, if I wish to upgrade to Club lounge. I've spent few thousands for the rooms for 2nd time, within 3 months, the front desk officers are a bit rude.I think it will no longer consider to stay again for family gathering or reunions.

GGuest UserLocated in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it.

EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

ZZhongyang~NioThe room is small and has few facilities. Fortunately, I made a plan in advance and brought my own washing supplies. The surrounding environment is indeed very simple. If you want to go to a more lively place, you should consider staying close to the central area. Eating is not convenient. The rooftop open-air restaurant opens at 7pm and closes at 12pm. It has hamburger-like food and some drinks. The decoration is retro and a little rock. You can enjoy the night view and a moment of peace. The most regrettable thing is that it is close to the sea, but you can't see the sea.

MMerryD.Stay here with my friend because she got into an accident and she doesn't have a place to stay especially with her injuries. I paid like RM134 per night and I stayed there for 2 nights in a row. It's definitely a very comfortable stay, complete amenities, respectful front desk tho a bit too slow like they took more than 10 minutes just to process online booking. The price reflected the place. Very close to MITC Mydin and there's also Watson nearby along with other shops like Secret Recipe, Bakers Cottage, Ayam Gepuk, Zus Coffee. Amenities are amazing, complete toiletries (soap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, bath towels, small towels, toilet paper etc I can't even remember what else) They also prepared plastic bag. The room is very big, lots of space for prayers. Got a vanity table along with huge mirrors. There was 2 mineral bottles with a kettle, cups, spoons, an instant noodle cup, instant coffee and milk tea. The air conditioning and tv works as well even tho the tv only shows some basic channels. They also got room service for meals but as expected with quite an expensive price. Also got a huge window with city view.

GGuest UserI stayed at Birkin International Hotel in Melaka from Tuesday to Thursday. As the hotel is still new, I understand that some facilities and security features may not yet be fully operational—for example, access control requiring a room card to enter guest floors. I also understand that, as a newly opened hotel, some rooms may not have undergone complete inspections. Upon check-in, the first room assigned to us had several defects: the toilet basin was choked, and the basin handle in the small kitchen area had come off. We contacted the front desk for assistance regarding the choked basin, and they offered us a room change. A staff member whom I believe was the hotel manager came up personally, escorted us to another room, and informed us that we had been upgraded. We truly appreciated this gesture and the prompt service provided. We checked in around 3:00 p.m. and were feeling hungry, so we decided to try the hotel food. We ordered two slices of cake, fish and chips, and pizza. The food was nice and delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed it. However, I would like to highlight a concern regarding the breakfast experience. As this is a five-star hotel, I expected a high standard of hygiene with zero tolerance for flies in the dining area. Unfortunately, I noticed several flies during breakfast. On one occasion, during the nasi lemak service, I saw a fly land on a bowl of eggs. I pointed this out to the staff, but they only removed the piece of egg that the fly had landed on. This was quite alarming, and as a result, I did not dare to try the nasi lemak at all. Later, I noticed one of the staff attempting to smash a fly while wearing gloves. This made me wonder whether the gloves would be changed afterward if the fly was successfully killed. This raised further concerns about food hygiene. Because of this, I became worried and chose to eat only items that were freshly cooked on the spot, such as curry noodles. Overall, I felt disappointed with the breakfast hygiene standards and sincerely hope the hotel will take this matter more seriously. I believe Birkin International Hotel has great potential, and with improved attention to cleanliness and food safety, it can offer a much better experience for guests. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback.
