This hotel's location is truly fantastic! You step right out to the Yalu River, and you can even see it from your room, which is super convenient. Downstairs, there are convenience stores and restaurants, so all your daily needs are covered. It's absolutely perfect for business travelers or independent tourists. Even though it's in a bustling area, the rooms are very quiet and completely undisturbed by outside noise. The room offers a wide, open view where you can overlook the city's nightscape – it's really pleasant. Next time I'm in this city, this will definitely be my top choice.

Angel's service was incredibly attentive. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Overall, it was very clean. This hotel is highly recommended.

On New Year's Eve, December 31st, compared to other hotels that were drastically raising their prices, this hotel was very affordable and offered great value for money. The staff were all excellent. Definitely worth every penny! Thumbs up!

Liaoning is the second hometown of our family of three. This time the child traveled by car from south to north during the winter vacation. After passing through Xingcheng, he found another treasure hotel: a brand new Hilton, the atmosphere of the suite is decorated, the large balcony, plus the sea view. Unfortunately, the nearby turf is still finishing the landscape. The scenery is slightly affected. The food is also good. I can’t take a picture of the room in a hurry, but I will definitely visit again during the summer vacation. Good hotel is recommended.

The hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The bedding was clean, and the environment was very pleasant. Service efficiency was high, and they even gave out small Christmas Eve gifts, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was bountiful, featuring the unique Shenyang chicken rack. The location is also convenient, with direct access to Metro Line 2 right downstairs. Very satisfied, very satisfied, very satisfied!

Every year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service. This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite. Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out. I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but fortunately, Shenyang does not need to use the air conditioner often. The pillow core is a bit dirty. 4. It meets the requirements of 4.8 points. Since I couldn’t give it 4.8 directly, I gave it all 5s.

Watermelon Hotel is absolutely fantastic! After one night, I extended my stay for another day. These past few days have been the coldest in Dalian this year; while it's not as freezing as Shenyang, it's still quite chilly. Staying in the warm rooms at Xigua (Watermelon) was incredibly comfortable. The heating was definitely five-star standard, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Since I get cold easily, the enthusiastic staff even provided an extra duvet for me to sleep with. The two rotating front desk gentlemen, the two ladies, and the housekeeping staff were all wonderful. Their service attitude was incredibly warm and caring, and they enthusiastically resolved any issues I had. Plus, both times, I was lucky enough to get my favorite quiet Room 510. 🍉 When I return to Dalian, I will definitely stay at Watermelon Hotel again. It's super awesome, so good!

A very satisfactory accommodation experience. It is near Bohai University. The decoration is luxurious. It should be a renovated karaoke hall. The sound insulation effect is very good. The room is large. The family room is suitable for a family trip. It has sufficient heating on snowy days. It also has a bathtub and is hygienic. Not bad, the equipment is very new, a little snowman is built outside, the children are happy. Overall, five-star praise.

The room was spacious and bright with a great view, and you could even see the ancient pagoda in the distance. On the first floor, there's free hanfu available for trying on, perfect for photo ops. Before check-in, a staff member called to ask about our arrival time and reserved a parking space. They also assigned us a room close to the parking based on our estimated arrival. The hotel is conveniently located, with many attractions within a 3km radius. There's also free hanfu on the first floor for guests to try on and take pictures. Upon arrival, a parking attendant specifically helped us find a parking spot. Later that night, returning from the spa near midnight, the front desk arranged for the parking attendant to guide us to our car, which we greatly appreciated. A big thank you to both the parking attendant and the kind front desk lady on duty. Our room was very new and fully smart-enabled. We could control the curtains, lights, and TV with the 'Xiaodu' smart assistant. After connecting to the in-room Wi-Fi, we could scan a QR code on the TV screen to cast our devices, which was very convenient. The bedding was comfortable, and we woke up feeling refreshed. I used my Trip.com points to redeem complimentary fruit and a late check-out, and the hotel smoothly arranged both for us.
