GGuest UserThe hotel is more than 10 minutes walk from the bus stop and the town visitor center. It is accessible by a 30-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill or by a sightseeing train at the town visitor center. The large comfortable twin room booked is large in size, and the mother elephant and town buildings can be seen from the small balcony. The scenery is beautiful one morning and one night on the sunny day. The rooms are decorated in Chinese style, with a surf bath and shower room in the big triangle. There may be no cold air conditioning in the room, but there are two big hottines. The exterior of the Michelin restaurant is covered with green plants, and the walls and backs of chairs are decorated in Picasso style. Guests may enjoy free afternoon tea in the afternoon.

GGuest UserIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a private house located in the center of the town with private parking. It is very convenient to walk to the surrounding attractions. The garden is quiet, the interior is beautifully decorated, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with a balcony, sanitation is in place, and there is plenty of storage space. The host couple and staff are warm, the cooking is superb, and the dinner and breakfast are very exquisite and delicious. Suitable for couples or small families on vacation.

The room was very beautiful, but there was no air conditioning or mini-fridge, and the bathroom was not working, even the hairdryer was to be repaired, it was almost dismantled while I used it.
All together a pleasant stay.
