GGuest UserHaving compared many hotels in Yinchuan, my stay at JW Marriott this time left a particularly deep impression. It's not just about the outstanding facilities; what's even more remarkable is the warm and attentive service from the staff. I especially want to thank Geng Wei at the front desk. Her service wasn't just a perfunctory, by-the-numbers interaction; she was sincere and generous in our conversations, proactively sharing tips to avoid tourist traps for local dining and entertainment, providing many practical recommendations. The room had great natural light, and the toiletries were of high quality. It was quiet and peaceful at night, and all my travel fatigue melted away. It's definitely worth making a special trip to experience.

KKevin_suixinsuoyuWith the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends.
Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety),
🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long.
- Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village.
- Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats.
I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

TTraveler DongLocation: The hotel is conveniently located near Yinchuan Municipal Government and Ningxia Museum, making it easy to access attractions and the train station. Its prime location is a definite plus. However, the hotel entrance is situated between two buildings, and many ride-sharing drivers get misdirected to the parking lot by their navigation, making it difficult for them to pick up guests. It's advisable to factor in extra time when booking a ride.
Room: This time, I used my points to upgrade to a Mountains and Rivers View room. The facilities are pretty similar to the standard rooms, but being on a higher floor offered a nice view of the Helan Mountains. Unfortunately, the window glass was very dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. I suggest cleaning them. Also, the air inlet cover on the handle of the hairdryer in the bathroom was missing, indicating that some facilities need prompt maintenance. The TV was quite old; it couldn't cast, and both the picture and sound quality were poor.
Food: The breakfast selection was rich and varied. However, some of the English translations for certain dishes were significantly flawed and need immediate correction. For dining out, Jin Feng Wanda Plaza is nearby. Alternatively, if you turn left twice after exiting the hotel, within 50 meters, there's a restaurant called 'Bai Xing Han Can' which offers a wide variety of dishes that cater well to Southern palates.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a well-established five-star in Yinchuan. Its location, service, and quality are all excellent, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. We stayed in a family connecting room, and we'd like to thank Nancy, the front desk supervisor, for assisting us and upgrading our connecting rooms to a suite. The room offers a superb view of People's Square and the Ningxia Museum. We stayed for two days, and my family was very satisfied.

GGuest UserFirst, the positives: it’s incredibly photogenic and has a very exotic vibe, which alone is a huge plus. However, it was raining when I visited, so many activities were canceled. I had planned to stargaze in the desert, but couldn't, and also missed out on sandboarding. If it had been sunny, I think it would have overshadowed all my dissatisfactions. I imagine it would be a truly wonderful experience on a clear day.
Now for the negatives: the service attitude was quite perplexing. Sometimes it seemed pretty good, but at other times it felt very cold. Because of the rain, we opted for horseback riding, and I found the instructor's attitude very perfunctory. Also, the hairdryer provided by the hotel felt completely mismatched with the overall price point; other hotels in the 1000-ish range often have Dyson hair dryers. The shower head was clogged and spraying water everywhere, so I had no choice but to use the handheld shower. When we arrived, the temperature suddenly dropped to 14 degrees Celsius, and even with the heating on full blast, it was still freezing cold in the morning.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with this trip! The hostess contacted us in advance, and her attitude was thoughtful and lovely. She informed us that the room might not be big enough and upgraded us, also asking if we'd like to order meals. Since our itinerary was quite tight, we didn't order food this time, but we should definitely try it next time.
The B&B's environment was a wonderful surprise, located amidst a large vineyard. A short bike ride away, the entire Helan Mountain range appears before your eyes. The restaurant also offers an unbeatable view. The tour of the winery was a nice addition too.
Overall, there's so much waiting for everyone to discover. I regret only booking for one day; a more leisurely stay would have been even better.

GGuest UserThe room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.

GGuest UserThe location is quite close to Lanshan Park, a 20-minute walk or a few minutes by shared bike. The decor is quite luxurious, and the rooms are large with all the necessary amenities. As a five-star hotel in Yinchuan, especially a Sheraton, the service and hygiene leave something to be desired. When checking in, the front desk staff had a poker face and didn't offer any basic information. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or what. Also, an older gentleman came to ask for the Wi-Fi password, and she just pointed to the hotel sign and said, 'Look here.' I was baffled because there was no password displayed on the sign. Luckily, the gentleman was good-tempered and, after looking around confusedly, went to find another receptionist. The shower temperature adjustment in the bathroom is quite odd; you have to turn on the hot and cold water separately and then adjust it yourself. You have to readjust it every time, and my child got scalded a few times. Plus, there's a strange odor in the shower room, and I'm not sure what it is. I rarely give anything less than a 5-star rating unless the experience is truly subpar.

YYuzhouwudichaojilengI came to Yinchuan alone to relax, and I chose this hotel mainly because of its convenient location. The actual stay was even better than expected. The first impression was how clean the room was; there were no stains on the carpet, and the windows were sparkling clean. I didn't go anywhere in the afternoon, just stayed in the room and watched a downloaded movie; drawing the curtains created a private cinema. In the evening, after showering, I stood in the window in my bathrobe watching the night view; the city lights twinkled like stars, and my heart felt at peace. Sometimes a good trip doesn't need to be bustling; a comfortable room is enough.

VVictoria GuerraA very comfortable stay! The staff were very friendly and it was located in a wonderful part of town. The room itself was comfortable and clean. I especially loved the complimentary shampoo and conditioner; they were so refreshing! The breakfast was also very delicious with lots of great options and flexible seating. I would definitely stay here again.
