I highly recommend to stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean as well as their bathroom. The breakfast buffet is really good there are instant coffee and choco drink available as well as juice. They also have a microwave wherein you can reheat your food stored in the fridge. Also a drying machine for clothes and a water dispenser at the hallways. I will definitely come back next time.
Thiis is our second stay at SIV, and we were assigned one of the newer rooms on the third floor. Breakfast was great, the gym was well-equipped, and the pool was nice. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a faucet near the gym so guests can clean their slippers before heading upstairs.

Great stay at Red Planet Hotel CDO!
We had a very pleasant stay at Red Planet Hotel CDO. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, respectful, and always willing to help whenever we needed assistance.
The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and nearby establishments. The hotel feels safe and organized, which made our stay more relaxing and stress-free.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend
Absolutely loved this little gem of a boutique hotel. The location was far away from General Luna, but the seclusion was welcomed - if you're looking for a more peaceful stay.
I loved that the hotel was very private and the atmosphere was relaxing. There was surfing right next the to hotel as well so no need to fight for waves by Cloud 9 - perfect for beginners!
Make sure to book a shuttle to and from the airport beforehand to avoid extorted rates. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and stay there again for future trips.
Close to my house in Mabua. This was for my parents. They enjoyed their stay. Pebble Beach across the street from resort. Bathroom simple. Bfast was good. Pools good. Good food on-site. Music not too loud like before. Spacious room. When I have family flying in, it'll be my go-to. Reasonably priced
The accommodation is decent. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's alright for the price. Hot water is available. The location is good.
I saw in other reviews that the road to the hotel is bad. I want to give my opinion: yes, it's not great, but don't forget where you are! This is an island village. About 70% of the roads here are bad. However, you can easily get to the hotel on a moped. There's a 500 peso deposit.
Impress with the service here from start to finish. Very clean and well maintained accommodation worth the $$ staying here. Security was 24hr. Pool and views. I do wish the price for the restaurant was less, as it would attract more customers food was good and the sour drink was my fav. It was quiet when we went which was relaxing and chill. If you’re looking for that vibe! Just on the backroad.
excellent customer service, the wait staff and other hotel staffs are very helpful.

GGuest UserFerra Resort is a great option if you want to stay slightly away from the busy center of General Luna while still being close enough to everything. It’s about 7 minutes by scooter and located in a nice area near the beach, although I didn’t go into the sea during my stay.
The hut was very spacious and comfortable, with a mosquito net over the bed and pleasant lighting in the bedroom, creating a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was very large, with warm water, good-quality towels, and plenty of space.
The resort features a brand new pool, which was a nice highlight, and pool towels are available. During the visit, a restaurant was still under construction, and the overall experience was slightly impacted by ongoing works and workers extending the property.
The internet connection was good, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Nearby resorts were a bit loud at times, which might have been due to the Christmas period.
The staff were very friendly and attentive—I was able to ask for free coffee several times without any issues. A nice extra was the private water dispenser in the bathroom, available free of charge.
Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely come again.

BBrenton HerzichBeautiful hotel, but as a new hotel they are poorly unorganised and many amenities are still yet to be completed. Couldnt vook the meeting rooms. The internet in the rooms always dropped out amd very unreliable to do business meetimgs, I had to rum team calls down near reception. Inconvenient!. ,I stayed in 3 different rooms and woke up to no hot water for a shower more than twice. Poor comtrols in place to ensure a customer room is ready and functioning. The food is probably great for locals but not for westerners. Many advertised meals they simply dont have. Great poolside, but no outside bar, or aloud to have a drink in the pool area. I will be a regular business visitor to Butuan during 2025 and therefore looking for a decent place that has a variety of food and reliable internet. Didn't fins it here.
WWorkHardToTravelKalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal).
The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

SSonja27Pros:
• hotel is new, they only opened last August
• room was very spacious
• beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable
• bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner
• airconditioning was superb
• room has a balcony (that we didn’t use)
Cons
• because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂
• location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road
• breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough.
All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.
NNitai- Prides itself in being a party hostel, but is also suitable for those just looking for a nice place to stay
- they have a restaurant with a good variety of food at good prices
- facilties are good - comfortable beds, lockers, warm showers
- wifi is not bad, good place for those working from abroad.
- has events that you can sign up for - island party hopping, etc.
GGuest UserThe service staff is very friendly. It is inevitable that the floor will be dirty after surfing, and they are also promptly cleaned. The hotel is close to the sea, and you can see the sunrise, but there are sharp reefs and no beach. The dinner options are OK. If you don't want to go out for dinner, you can eat in the hotel restaurant.
A huge pitfall is that I had never expected before: the hotel restaurant has always had a resident band and DJ, but the volume is very loud, and it will last until 11 o'clock or even midnight. Even if you are tired from surfing during the day, it is difficult to fall asleep at night. In just a few days there, I have encountered several waves of guests who were unable to bear the disturbance and had to move out early. But the hotel management seems to be ***** and is completely indifferent to the guests' complaints. The staff is also helpless, and they only dare to tell me privately that it was not like this before, and the newly replaced management ”has a very wonderful imagination.” In addition, the wifi is always available and not available.
