I have stayed at Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul City Center several times before, and each time I have had the same level of satisfaction.
The hotel’s location is very central and convenient for transportation. The service quality, cleanliness, and overall organization are truly commendable. The rooms are always very clean, and the hygiene standards are consistently high.
The breakfast is rich and delicious, making for a great start to the day.
Most importantly, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff made my stay even more special. I was welcomed with the same level of care each time. I would like to thank all the staff, and especially Mr. Can for his professionalism and kind assistance.
This is a hotel I have chosen many times and will continue to choose in the future. I can confidently recommend it.
I stayed on this hotel before and took the suit and was TOP. But this time, took a normal room. It was totally worse. It doesn't totally look like 4 start hotels. The pillow is so ****.
The main light wasn't working. And shower was blocked. Toilet flashing doesn't work properly, and the temperature is not working . I complained about it and asked to chang the room.they said we would send the service. Day later complained again they said the service man was not working we will send tomorrow. Till I check it out. They haven't fixed anything. I will definitely don't book again this hotel. If you do not book the suit, don't book this hotel because you pay 4 stars but you get 3 or 2 star rooms and services.

We had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel in December with my parents. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the main attractions, and although it’s situated near the Grand Bazaar, it’s surprisingly quiet.
The hotel is very clean, and we were kindly upgraded to a Triple Deluxe room after the air conditioner in our original room wasn’t strong enough. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and spotless.
We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant every evening because the food quality was outstanding, and Ozgur took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Having access to the spa included in the price was an amazing bonus. Our daily routine was perfect — sightseeing until around 8–8:30 pm, relaxing at the spa until 10 pm, and then enjoying dinner at the restaurant with a breathtaking Bosphorus view until midnight. It was incredibly relaxing.
The staff were all exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant view is truly stunning. We especially appreciated that on our first night, when we arrived at the restaurant close to midnight, we were still able to order a full meal without any issue.
Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay — we would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. Even though I was traveling alone, I was given a spacious room, which made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
The restaurant, though not large, had everything I needed, and it was a real treat to have delicious Kaymak for breakfast without having to go far.
There was a bit of a tricky situation during my stay, but the staff were so kind to constantly check in on me, asking if I was okay and offering their help. I really appreciated their concern and support.
I would definitely love to stay here again if I come back to Istanbul!
I stayed in three hotels in Istanbul, and I like this hotel the most. We arrived at around 11 o'clock. We were worried that we could not check in until 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The brother at the front desk was very, very good and let us check in at around 11 o'clock. We flew for 11 hours and were exhausted. We could check in early, which was very warm. There was also a brother to help with the luggage, but unfortunately we had just arrived that day and did not have enough money to tip him. I wanted to stay here for the next two days, but there were no rooms. The hotel and the room are very beautiful, European style, and the room is also very spacious. There is a very cute and beautiful girl in the restaurant on the first floor. She also gave me a heart. When I left, we hugged each other tightly. In short, this hotel is very good in terms of environment and service. If I go to Istanbul again, I will definitely stay here again. Super satisfied ❤️💗♥️

The location is excellent! They are directly above Taksim, and only about 2 mins to reach the metro station.
Views are pretty good if you get to face the taksim square, and the rooms are quiet too. However if you are facing the other city view on the left of Taksim square, good luck to you! They have a nearby club which plays super loud music all the way until 1am. Take note if you are sensitive to noise.
For the rooms with Bospherous views, personally i think it's not very worth it as the hotel is quite far from the sea. Hence although the views are nice, they are priced too high as the views are too far off (you have to pay about Euro 100 more to upgrade from corner city view to Bospherous deluxe room view).
For those who are sensitive to smoke, please take note the hotel is not smoke free. Only some levels are smoke free. However, we stayed on level 9 which is supposed to be smoke free, but we smelled cigarette smoke. Obviously people were smoking on a non-smoking level. When we gave feedback to the staff, they claimed that they will investigate but nothing was done. When we enquired further, they just changed our room to another even smaller room, although they gave us a higher floor with a Bospherous view. Try to avoid corner rooms on level 16. You wont even have space to put luggage.
One funny thing is that the hotel will try to push for you to download their app and self help via it. However it was not working for 2 full days. When we gave feedback to the front desk staff, they said their IT team will look into it and fix it by the night, but it was not resolved even until the next day. No idea why they even have the app when it is not even working.
Overall, our stay was not as enjoyable as we hoped it would be. The service staff was laggard and not helpful in solving the problems. And not all front desk staff are able to converse confidently in English.
The two single beds pushed together worked perfectly for our family of three. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old city, just a few tram stops from Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. My husband even used points to upgrade our room, which was a bit more spacious. The hotel also gifted us some desserts – Turkish desserts are truly amazing! The decor has a very opulent, vintage palace style, great for photos. If you love a grand, luxurious aesthetic, you should definitely check this place out.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were so friendly and respectful. The food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made me feel completely at ease. The Spa and the swimming pool was enough. The location was fine, although a bit steep in the front gate. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway — I’ll definitely be coming back!

GGuiBoThe hotel, room and staff are great!
There is something that honestly brothered me.
Anything bought at the hotel bar had a 10% mandatory service charge.
And this 10% does NOT go to the empoles who are there serving, but to the hotel company.
Does not seem fair

LLouisa WallaceThe hotel is really nice and room is so comfortable and clean. The hotel has a good selection of restaurants to try Turkish or Italian food, as well as yummy room service. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel is located in walking distance to a beautiful palace and art gallery, as well as the tram which gives easy access to the attractions of the city. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserExcellent stay with family here for 5 nights. Cant fault anything as the staff was good and the facilities great especially the inside swimming pool that we enjoyed. Good location an close to transport and metro.
GGuest UserHotels in Istanbul have generally increased their prices...the hotel is very old, but it can be seen that it is also under maintenance. The room is clean and tidy and has no peculiar smell. The only downside is that the sound insulation is too bad. Hey... there is no way. The lira is depreciating and inflation. I don't know if the staff wages can be paid. The decoration must be very rough...
DDawood Al-SalmanUpon arrival we received a room facing the main street. We could not sleep well because of the noise of the cars, but the next day the room was replaced with a quieter one. Thanks to the understanding staff. Everything was good, but the room's bathroom is old and needs maintenance and updating.
CClaire MI love Pera Palace Hotel!!! It's been love at first sight! ❤️
It's been my dream since about two years to spend a night here and finally last night my husband and I did, and even with my extremely high expectations the stay even surpassed those - it was one of the best hotel stays ever - and we had a lot! 😉
Pera Palace Hotel has such a vibrant history and it nourishes this historical vibe, it's like living in a museum, it is as if you've been dropped into another time about one hundred years back - absolutely lovely, mesmerizing, breathtaking! 😍
On the way to our room #512, we took the first elevator of the country made of wood and cast iron and installed in 1892 - what an exciting ride! 🤩
The ROOM!!! I had booked the Greta Garbo corner room and it DID look like on the pictures - beautiful!!! Again, talking about travelling in time ... Bed was comfy, bathroom with cute old style bathtub 🛁 ... Everything was perfect! There was enough complimentary water, the option to make espresso, tea,... Minibar was available as well but we chose to have a nice glass of Whiskey at the Oriental Bar instead in the evening - so stylish, such a cozy flair, plus quite a big choice of different whiskeys ... 🥃
The service from check-in until check-out was impeccable - valet, reception, Turkish coffee at Kubbeli Lounge, drinks at Oriental Bar, Agatha Restaurant for breakfast with a fantastic buffet... the SPA area is quite small, but very nice as well ... We had a little steam room and sauna session that was very relaxing before retiring to our room for the night ...
This morning, after the delicious breakfast, we visited the Atatürk museum - room #101 where Atatürk used
to reside starting from 1917 until he took residency at Dolmabahçe Palace.
What else can I say? Well, check out the list of all the famous people from all over the world who stayed at Pera Palace Hotel! And watch Midnight at the Pera Palace on Netflix 🗝️ 😃 ...
And then try it out yourself and you'll see, it's as stunning as I'm saying!!! 😍😍😍
We'll be back, I REALLY want to! ❤️
On the last picture you can see a gift that I received when checking out 🥰 - so it's clear, we are meant to be back!!! And if I choose the room we will stay at very carefully next time we might even be able to travel in time ... 🤣

A Truly Exceptional Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton! Topkapi Istanbul
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and professionalism that made our stay unforgettable. The entire team at DoubleTree by Hilton went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and cared for every single day.
A special shout-out to Zineb from guest services, greeted with a warm smile and made check-in a breeze. Ozen & Melisa from reception was incredibly helpful in arranging local tours and dining recommendations — every suggestion was spot-on!
Also want to thank Ali & Mustafa from ballboy services, whose attentive and proactive care made us feel like VIPs, who was not only efficient but also shared great tips for exploring the area.
This team is truly the heart of the hotel — their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication created a warm and inviting atmosphere we won’t forget. Thank you all for a 5-star experience — we’ll definitely be back!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located very close to Istiklal street, and surprisingly close to Galata Tower. You can walk straight up the road and be at Galata Tower with 15 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very nice and really helpful. The first day I was there, the shower in my room didn't work, and the tap was actually broken. They changed my room and helped me so quickly. Other than a window that didn't want to close, and an aircon that was on but not working, everything else went quite smoothly.
