TeenaychelleI enjoyed my time at this hotel. It was a lovely stay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly when you call they answer your questions in a timely matter. They are all around the board a great establishment to go and visit in New Orleans. It is close to a lot of different attractions

The hotel itself is fine and the location is excellent, but we had several awful service experiences.
First, the king bed room we booked was not available when we check in, so they put us in a double bed room and said they would move us the next day.
Then when we went to the front desk to move to our new room, the person at the front desk was not friendly and was taking so long to handle our situation. We were worried we would be late for our tour, so we asked if we could leave and they could move our luggage to the new room. She said no, we can't change rooms until we are ready to move the luggage ourselves, and that our luggage would stay in the old room.
When we came back later that day, they moved us to our new room but our luggage was not in our old room or the new room! We were so worried they lost our luggage. Finally they figured out that they moved our luggage to a 3rd room, and they tried to blame us for it. All of these interactions took a long time because the front desk was so slow and the line was long. After all that trouble, they only gave us a meager $25 credit as an apology.
Lastly, we accidentally left a small pouch of personal items in our first room and when we told them about this, they made no effort to try and find it. When we checked out, we also left a souvenir we had bought in the room accidentally. We tried calling the hotel to see if they could find the missing item and ship it to us. We waited on hold for a long time before the front desk transferred us to the wrong place, the automated reservations agent. So frustrating!
It is clear the staff there do not communicate between shifts or departments and just don't care about treating their guests well. Simple things like contacting the lost and found about a missing item should not be this difficult.
The only good staff interactions we had were with the interns who were there on a training program.
Also the wifi is not free. How are big hotels like this getting away with charging for wifi in 2025?
Tl;dr: staff are not helpful at all, their communication is awful. Wifi not free

Vanessa RatcliffWhen I entered the room, the undeniable smell of urine perfumed the air. I looked for the source and, while getting in bed, I found it. It was the MATTRESS!!!!! I ask to place us in another room, which was accompanied with an apology. In the other room, it smelled less urine-like. YET, I lifted the blanket and noticed 2 DIRTY, I MEAN DIRTY, SOCKS that had been there since who-knows-when!!!!! This meant that the sheets were not cleaned, either!!!! We had to leave!!! This was an emergency trip and we will NEVER go here again!!!

JINThe price of this hotel is relatively high, about 15 minutes drive from the city, but don't stay on holidays or weekends. The price of my stay on Saturday is double that of Monday (¥530 and ¥1100)

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The hotel is only a 5 min drive from the airport. They have a shuttle that goes to/from the airport every hour. You will need to call or email after booking to get the shuttle times if you plan to use it.

I stayed an additional night after my initial booking. The service remained just as excellent. Ohhh ask at the front desk for assistance with a taxi to the airport. Much cheaper than uber or lyft.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Peter and Paul in New Orleans and overall, it was a delightful experience. The interior of the hotel exudes a captivating charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort seamlessly. The attention to detail in the design adds a unique touch to the ambiance.
The service at Hôtel Peter and Paul was exceptional, with a staff that was attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations or promptly addressing any concerns, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.
While the overall experience was positive, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the housekeeping service. It wasn't as thorough as I would have expected, and some details were overlooked. However, this didn't overshadow the other positive aspects of the stay.
In conclusion, Hôtel Peter and Paul offers a charming and unique retreat in the heart of New Orleans. The impressive interior and outstanding service make it a memorable choice for those seeking a distinctive and comfortable stay in this vibrant city.

After I checked out, the hotel charged my credit card US $83.05, but didn't provide me with a bill or invoice. (If it was a one-day parking fee, it should have been around $40). I called the hotel to inquire, but only got a recording and no response. At 3 PM during peak check-in time, dozens of guests were queuing up, but there were only two front desk staff. One of them was exclusively serving members, leaving other guests staring helplessly. For a 4-star hotel with over 1000 rooms, this is quite unacceptable.

Guest UserEverything else was good, parking was expensive. But this is not a problem with this hotel, but parking is expensive throughout the city. Hotel location is good, ten minutes walk to the French-speaking area.
