Been coming here for years, it's our local spot. The food's always solid and the vibe is just really welcoming. Not a fancy place, but feels like home.

Really enjoyed the mixed starter, so many different flavours and textures. The kung po chicken was the star though – just the right amount of heat and crunch. Staff were lovely when we asked to swap a side.

Hygiene rating is 5 stars, which is a big plus for me. The toilets were actually spotless, which you don't see everywhere. Food was really good.

Staff were so nice and made us feel right at home. They kept checking on our table without being pushy, which was perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends. Really liked that vibe.

The mixed kebab is a decent portion for the price. The meat was nicely seasoned, though the chicken was a bit dry.

Love the history here. You can feel it in the old wood and the quiet corners. The current owners have really kept its soul intact. A lovely, peaceful spot for a quiet pint.

Been coming here for years. The Scouse is the real deal, just like my nan used to make. Staff are always friendly and quick to help. A proper local spot.

Perfect spot for a quick brunch. Eggs Benedict were spot on, runny yolks and all. Pancakes with mascarpone were solid. Got my food fast, which is all I need on a busy day. Lemonade was a nice touch.

Had a nice meal here. The service was friendly and efficient, which made for a pleasant visit. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, though the music was a touch loud for my taste. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

The pizza was pretty good, generous toppings and a nice crust. Decent value for the size. Service was a bit slow, but it was fine for a casual lunch.

The sausage dinner's a classic, and I always ask for extra onions. It's just the right kind of cozy spot for a late bite. The lighting is soft and the booths are comfy, makes it easy to unwind.

The upstairs area is a nice spot to work with good views. Gets pretty packed around lunchtime, though.

Came here for a working breakfast. Eggs Benedict were solid, and the full English was cooked properly. Portions are decent for the price. Good spot if you need a quick, reliable meal in the area.

Love this little spot for a catch-up with friends. The staff are so lovely and chatty, makes you feel right at home. Full English for £5.50 in the city centre is a proper steal. It can get a bit busy on weekends though!

Clean and bright spot, the self-service setup works well. Breakfast deal is decent value, but the rolls were a bit dry on my visit. Good for a quick, efficient bite.

A proper greasy spoon right by Anfield. The staff were so friendly, which really makes a difference. It's the perfect spot for a quick, no-fuss bite before the match. The seats are comfy too, a real bonus.

Pad Thai was spot on, just the right balance of sweet and savoury. The cashew nut stir-fry had a lovely smoky wok hei to it. Portions are definitely generous for the price. A solid meal.

The portions here are huge for what you pay! Perfect for grabbing a big takeaway to share with mates. We just parked on the street nearby and picked it up, super easy.

Nice little spot. The decor is interesting, walls are covered in old photos and random stuff. Good for a relaxed meal.

Had a lovely hot chocolate here this morning. It was really creamy and not too sweet, just perfect for a chilly day. The cafe itself feels so cosy, like a little warm hug. Will definitely be back for that drink!

Food was really good, fresh and tasty. Staff were attentive but not hovering. A bit on the pricier side, but you can tell where the money goes. The takeaway option is a nice touch for busy nights.

The ham, cheese, and onion toastie is the reason I keep coming back. Perfectly crispy bread with just the right amount of melted cheese. Staff are always nice when you pop in.

Just popped in for a quick bite. The place is super clean, looks like it got a fresh makeover recently. Really bright and tidy inside, which is nice. Food was decent, nothing crazy.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are always so generous. You really get your money's worth. The quality's stayed solid too, which is nice.

Came here with friends after a night out, and it was just the spot. The staff were so friendly and patient with our tired group, which really made a difference. The vibe stayed welcoming even though it was packed.

The set menu for two is a solid deal. We got the roast chicken and pasta, plus starters and a bottle of house red. Everything was decent, though the chicken was a touch dry. Still, you definitely leave full for what you pay.

Service was friendly and quick. They moved my seat when I mentioned it was a bit chilly, no fuss at all.
