The open fire was so lovely on a chilly night. The whole place felt warm and cosy. I had the lamb stew, which was just right – tender and full of flavour. A really nice spot to unwind.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The cozy atmosphere matched the service well. Had a business lunch here, service was prompt and efficient. Good spot for a quick, professional meal.

The carrot cake was lovely, and they had a decent house red that went well with it. Nice to see a dog-friendly spot that's not a chain.

Gets packed at peak times, so snagging a table can be a bit of a gamble. Service felt a touch slower when it was heaving, but the food came out just fine.

Been coming here for years. Their cocktails are always spot on, never had a bad one. That's what keeps me coming back. The staff are lovely too, makes it a nice place to unwind.

A real Roman-run spot. The seafood pasta sauce clung to every strand, so flavourful. Just a heads up, it's not on the ground floor!

The modern lounge vibe is a nice change from the usual curry house. Service was prompt and efficient. The lamb rogan josh was solid, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. Good for a business dinner near the office.

Nice spot for a quiet chat. The old building has a cool vibe with some modern bits inside. Food was decent, but the main thing was just having a relaxed meal without any rush.

Loved the salt and pepper fries here. The seasoning was spot on and they tasted really fresh.

The staff really knew their beers and were happy to suggest a few. I appreciated that they took the time to explain the ingredients in each one, which helped me pick something that fit my preferences. Very helpful.

A quiet spot for a pint, and they welcome dogs outside. The outdoor seating is comfortable, even for a longer visit. It’s just a nice, relaxed place when the sun's shining.

The cakes are homemade and really nice. I got a slice for £4.50, which felt fair for the quality and the size. It was a generous portion, definitely enough to share. Good for a treat without breaking the bank.

The mixed tandoori grill is the standout. The meat is incredibly moist and tender.

Nice spot for a weekend brunch by the canal. The veggie options are solid - had the avocado toast, nicely seasoned. Coffee was good. A bit pricey for what it is, but the view makes up for it.

The Victoria sponge cake here is a proper homemade slice, really generous. That’s the one to get. The rest was just okay, but that cake made it worth stopping by.

Popped in for a quick bite. The almond croissant was the star – still warm, with a generous filling and that perfect flaky crunch. Just what I needed with a large tea. The rest is pretty standard chain fare, but that croissant hit the spot.

Booked a private wine tasting with Tom. He was friendly, and the selection was interesting. Staff knew their stuff. Ended up staying longer than planned.

The Guinness here is spot on. It's got that perfect creamy head and the deep, roasty flavour you want. They pour it properly. The rest of the drinks selection is solid, but that's the one I keep coming back for.

Really enjoyed the food here. The lamb chops were cooked just right, and the side of roasted potatoes had a nice crisp to them. Service was quick and friendly. Only downside is they don't deliver, so you'll have to come in person. Solid spot for a proper meal.

Stumbled in after a few places were packed. Ordered the stuffed aubergine and lamb chops. Portions were generous, honestly felt like two meals in one. The baklava was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years, and the green/red card system is what keeps me coming back. It's just so simple. Lets you actually enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. Servers always spot it right away.

Been coming for years. The set menu is still under £20 for three courses, which is pretty good these days.

Been coming here for years, and it's still the stained glass that gets me every time. Just sitting with a pint, watching the light change through those windows as the evening goes on. It's the one thing that keeps me coming back. The terrace is nice too, but honestly, I'm always drawn back inside for that view.
