The breakfast sandwich is the thing here. Bacon cooked just right, not too crispy, and the egg is soft. Good bread too. For the price, it's solid.

Lovely, cosy spot. Food looks good on camera, no complaints there. Staff were friendly enough. Just a nice, relaxed place for a meal.

Been coming here for years. The owner's always around, keeps things moving. Even on a packed Saturday morning, my coffee and toast were on the table in under five minutes. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice open space and the coffee is consistently good. Staff are friendly too.

Been coming here for years for my afternoon tea. It's the little historic details that keep me coming back - feels like stepping into another time. Prices are still decent for the area.

Friendly staff, really good with kids. My little one was fussy but they were patient and even brought a small toy. Made a casual lunch much easier.

The sommelier really knew her stuff, especially with those new world wines. Made the whole thing feel a bit more special.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The staff were super friendly and even brought a water bowl for my dog while we sat outside. Food came out fast and tasted fresh. Perfect for a quick bite.

Loved the feel of this place. It's got that proper pub atmosphere, warm and buzzing but not too loud. The interior is surprisingly spacious, which is a nice change. Found a cosy corner by the window and just enjoyed the vibe.

Been here a few times. The food and service are always good. Had a couple of billing mix-ups, but Cosmos sorted it out quickly.

Loved the decor here! The vintage vibe is so cool, and that old motorbike parked inside is such a fun detail. Really gives the place a lot of character.

First time here, the grilled vegetable tagine was a lovely surprise. Really fresh and flavourful.

Solid Guinness here, properly poured. The new electronic darts board is a fun addition, keeps track of the score for you. Nice little upgrade for a classic spot.

Staff were so helpful with my dietary needs. Perfect for a group!

Busy Sunday evening, so service was a bit slow. Food was solid though, everyone liked their meals. Decent value for the portion sizes.

The food is simple and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. The downstairs area (Paysan) has a nice, relaxed vibe for wine.

Been coming here for years. The full English is solid, proper bacon and sausages, not that cheap stuff. Owners always remember my usual. It’s just a reliable spot.

Our go-to spot for a catch-up! The food’s always fresh and full of flavour. Staff are super attentive, which makes it easy to relax and chat.

The festive bottomless brunch was solid. The food was genuinely good, especially the main course. Cocktails were decent too.

Michael was really helpful with my dietary needs, which I appreciated. The food was tasty, but I did find the portions a bit on the smaller side for the price. Still, it was a nice, friendly evening.

Breakfast was fine for a quick family stop before heading into Chester. The toast was good, reliable. My fried egg was a bit overdone, but it didn't ruin the meal. Solid spot for what it is.

The sauce selection is the star here. Tried the spicy mayo and the house special, both went perfectly with the crispy chicken. It's what makes the meal.

The munchy box is a proper feast, perfect for sharing after a night out. Got it delivered, but had to scramble for cash as they don't take cards. Still, my go-to for a takeaway in Chester.

Tried their Southern Fried Chicken for the first time. It was really good, crispy outside and super juicy inside. Staff were nice and friendly too.

Our server Josie was incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing our dining experience with her excellent service and delightful food.

The Sunday roast was served in a giant Yorkshire pudding, which was a nice touch. Loads of meat and veg tucked inside. Felt very cosy and generous for the price.

Cozy little spot, the open kitchen gives it a nice buzz. Sat at the bar this time, which was perfect for a relaxed solo dinner. The counter seating feels more spacious than the tables.

Been coming here for years. The steak and cheese panini is a solid choice, especially with the £5 footlong deal. It's a decent lunch for the price, though the bread can be a bit dry sometimes.

The mango lassi is a great find in Chester. The place has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe too.
