Kerrie and the team were so polite and helpful. It just makes the whole visit feel a bit nicer, you know?

The new skin-on chips are fantastic. You can really taste the freshness of the potatoes, and they're cooked just right – crispy outside, fluffy inside. A great healthy option that feels satisfying. The music was a bit loud for a quiet chat, but overall a nice spot.

The sag paneer was incredible - you can really taste the freshness of the greens. The best I've had.

Visited on Easter Sunday. The full Welsh breakfast was cooked by a volunteer and was very good. Friendly, community atmosphere.

Love the covered outdoor space at this old pub. The scotch egg was a real standout - so much better than your usual pub fare.

The owner clearly cares about the food. Had the traditional stew and it was pretty good, felt authentic. A bit pricey for the portion, but the quality was there.

Been coming here for years, and the bacon on the full English is always spot on. Crispy, not too fatty, just right. The rest can be a bit hit or miss sometimes, but that bacon keeps me coming back.

The beef donner here is actually quality. You can tell it's fresh, not that processed stuff. Makes a real difference.

Veysel was so good! He was patient with our indecisive table, and kept checking in without being pushy. Really made the whole evening with friends flow nicely.

Decent neighbourhood spot. Prices are fair, you get a good portion for what you pay. I had the fish and chips, the portion was generous. It's a solid choice for a casual meal without breaking the bank.

The ice cream selection is huge. I tried a few samples before settling on the pistachio - really creamy, with a nice nutty flavour. The staff were patient with my indecisiveness.

The Classic Po' Boy was really tasty, the Creole gravy made it. But for the price, the portion felt a bit on the smaller side. I was hoping for a bit more, especially for lunch.

The catering sandwiches were so fresh, with crisp veggies and quality bread. They even included lovely vintage plates, which was a thoughtful touch.

The garlic mayo dip is the star here. Had it with a simple margherita pizza and it just worked. Could've done with a bit more garlic kick, but still solid.

Lovely little family-run spot. They handled our group of 10 with no fuss at all, which was a relief. Even had a water bowl out for our big dog. A proper independent find.

Food's good, especially when it's fresh. They make it right in front of you, so you see the effort.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local spot, always busy. Nice to see they're dog-friendly too. Had a coffee and a croissant the other morning – decent, simple stuff. Good for a quick stop.

The staff were really thoughtful. They noticed we had sandwiches to take away and offered to cut them up for us, even putting them on proper plates. Little touches like the chocolate with the coffee make a difference.

Bagels were solid. Reminded me of the ones back in the US. Chewy texture, good flavour. Couldn't ask for more.

The veggie jalapeno burger is my go-to. My partner liked the beef wrap, and for a fiver with two drinks, you can't go wrong.

Great location for match days, right by Anfield. The LFC memorabilia, like the old seats used as shelves, is a nice touch for fans.

The lamb qouzi was lovely and tender. Portions are generous for the price, which is nice. I found the booth seating quite comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Found this spot in Liverpool. The cakes are decently sized and priced fairly, which is a plus. Had a slice of their carrot cake and it was a good portion for the price. The place itself is in an old bank, plenty of seats.

Found this spot on a walk with my dog. They let him inside, which is a huge plus. Got a quick sandwich and a coffee. Service was fast, no fuss. Perfect for a quick bite when you’ve got the pup with you.

The Malaysian beef was spicy and full of flavour, with really tender meat and big chunks of veg. That was the standout for me. The chicken fried rice was fine, had plenty of chicken in it.
