Romantic Hotels in Tuscany, Italy

I really don't understand how foreigners think. I booked this well in advance. At the time, I could only book one night in a standard room plus two nights in a premium room. On the day of check-in, there was a cheaper premium room available, and the booking price was even lower. But the front desk still insisted on me checking into the standard room for one night, then checking out at noon on the second day, leaving my luggage at the front desk, and then checking into the premium room later that afternoon for the remaining two nights. It turned out the premium room wasn't even as good as the standard room; the lighting was a bit strange, and the room size was the same. The hotel breakfast was decent though.

Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable. First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy decor with a lounge area in the lobby and first floor. Reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming and were ready to help us with the door and luggage as soon as they saw us arrive. Hotel is clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning system and provides a reasonable amount of amenities for our stay including a mini fridge and heated towel rack as an added bonus. Would have preferred a rain shower in our bathroom but by all means not an issue as the water pressure was still very strong and liked there were doors for the shower so water does not leak onto the floor. Location is fantastic! A block away from the Duomo and you can even see if from your room if you have booked a room with a view, otherwise at breakfast you can see it on the outside terrace. Also, central to a department store, designer stores, local supermarket and abundance of food options nearby. The location also feels safe to be walking around after dinner.

Very unfriendly lady at front desk

We had a great time! As other people have said in their reviews, the breakfast was excellent. The view was great, and we had a delicious meal while watching the sun rise over the Tuscan hills. The staff were all friendly and smiling, so we had a pleasant stay. You can walk to Piazza del Campo, but it takes about 20 minutes, so it feels a little far. In terms of facilities, it would be nice if there was a refrigerator and a kettle. The large bathtub was also very nice. Still, I wanted to stay another night, and it's a place I'd like to stay at again.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The hotel is centrally located, so ideal for lots of walking to the main sights in Firenze and within a 10 minute walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the room we had didn't have any view apart from some rooftops. However, we were out most of the time enjoying the food, drinks, and sights of the cobbled streets of the town.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Florence. The family suite was spacious with a smart layout that offered privacy and comfort, which made it perfect for our friends’ group. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of options each morning. The location is also excellent — close to the train station and just a short walk from Florence city center. There are plenty of mini markets nearby where we could easily grab snacks and water. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A 5 minute walk from Pisa, very helpful and friendly staff 24 hours. There isnt a lift, however staff insisted in carrying our bags up the stairs, very helpful! We were late to breakfast, and they still accommodated for us (a couple). They set up a Private breakfast for us to in the bar dining on the ground floor, asked what we wanted to eat and drink, and kept coming back to see if it was enough. It included pancakes, eggs, toast, pastries, cappuchino with pretty coffee art, teas, spreads, homemade cake, juice. They brought us more when they came pass. Highly recommend this stay :) well worth the money!

I rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!
