I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

The hotel has a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient! The facilities are new, the service is warm, and the hygiene is excellent. The bedding is soft like clouds. The free large parking lot is a thoughtful touch, and the buffet breakfast offers incredible value for money. Highly recommend!!!

The environment is quite good, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is delicious 😋, I especially love the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. The room isn't big but it's well-designed. The bathroom is a bit small, so they used a diagonal sliding door, and a mirror next to the toilet visually expands the space. The shower has an overhead rain shower, which is quite hygienic. It's right next to榕湖 (Rong Lake), and I took a stroll to the spot where Huang Tingjian moored his boat at night. The lighting was magical, almost like a game – but I'm getting sidetracked! Overall, the surrounding environment is very pleasant and quiet.

Traveling through Baise on my trip to Yunnan, I saw Wyndham in my search results and it looked good, so I booked a king room to share with a friend. It was a bit quiet and empty when we checked in, but all the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and warm. It really brightened up my tiring journey! 😊 They even specifically gave us a room with a great view and location. The room itself was really spacious, and the bed was wide enough for two people to sleep comfortably, and super soft! There's an indoor heated pool and gym on the second floor, both free to use. The only downside is that there's no self-service laundry, but I heard the hotel is planning to add it. If I come back, I hope that service will be available – that would make it perfect! It's also very close to shopping areas. This place is great for a slow-paced, relaxing life. Highly recommend! 🥳

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the panoramic view from the 6th floor made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—very convenient and well connected, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The reception staff were especially helpful and friendly, always ready to provide useful information and great recommendations. I also really appreciated the free laundry and dryer service, which was extremely convenient. Another great perk was the discounted scooter rental available for hotel guests—perfect for exploring Yangshuo at your own pace. Misty Guilin, truly lives up to its reputation! With a view right outside the window, stepping downstairs transports you into a picturesque scroll of mountains and rivers – distant peaks like painted brows, nearby waters hazy with mist, and swirling clouds that make you feel like you've entered an ink-wash fairyland. Choosing this place meant even a rainy day became a rare and beautiful experience. What was even more delightful was the hotel's service. The one-on-one butler was thoughtful and meticulous, ensuring everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. In the morning, that authentic bowl of Guilin rice noodles, with its rich卤香 (lu xiang - savory braised flavor), left a lasting impression. The room facilities were comprehensive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. This trip's perfect experience was set from the moment I first gazed out the window at the stunning view. Waking up in a misty haze and falling asleep surrounded by mountains and rivers – I wholeheartedly recommend this Guilin to anyone yearning for a poetic escape.

This was the first five-star hotel in Guilin, and its location is absolutely superb. The Sun and Moon Pagodas are right outside the entrance, and Elephant Trunk Hill and Zhengyang Road Food Street are just a few minutes' walk away – truly the best choice for getting around. There were many international tour groups and conference groups, so breakfast was busy but well-organized, with a rich selection of Western food. There's a travel agency downstairs, making it super convenient to book a Li River cruise. The photo shoot on the second floor was particularly amazing; it's not like those low-quality roadside stalls you find elsewhere. We took some fantastic, high-quality photos from the 17th-floor observation deck, and the price was very reasonable. A special thank you to the lobby manager – despite a minor issue with the facilities, they handled it professionally and efficiently, resolving our problem beautifully.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk from Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and transportation is super convenient. The environment is elegant and clean. All the staff are very enthusiastic, and most importantly, the beds are incredibly comfortable. There's also a small soft play area on the 10th floor, which is highly recommended for families with children – a play area like that is more exciting than any scenic view for kids! 😂
