Our stay this time was quite a pleasant surprise. Tina, one of the staff members, was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room, which made our stay very comfortable. The parent-child themed decorations require an advance booking, and they provide a full set of children's toiletries, which is a great touch! The breakfast was decent, with some local Shenyang specialties. The swimming pool water temperature was good, and the attendant there was very warm and friendly.

The front desk staff, Angel, had a warm smile and made the check-in process quick and efficient. The bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the shower had consistent and comfortable water pressure. The hotel also features a heated pool and a 24-hour gym, which I was very satisfied with. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shenyang.

Ambiance: It wasn't yet the season for air conditioning, and as it's a fully enclosed hotel, the room temperature was a bit high. Service: Attentive, meticulous, and patient. This included room service, the hotel front desk, restaurant service, hosts, and guest relations like Ellie, all demonstrating the high standards of a five-star hotel. Notes: A small suggestion – the scent at the hotel entrance was a bit too strong. It triggered my rhinitis; the fragrance was indeed a bit overpowering.

Every year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service. This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite. Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out. I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, with Wanda Plaza, Panpan Road, and Tonghuimen Market all within easy walking distance. It would be helpful if booking platforms could more clearly distinguish between the VIP Building and the Executive Building. The hotel's breakfast truly deserves praise – there was a wide selection, and everything was delicious. However, the broth for the 'Suancai Cuan Bairou' (sour cabbage and sliced pork soup) and the gravy for the 'Doufunao' (tofu pudding) were a little on the salty side.

Returning to Shenyang from abroad, the Grand Hyatt was the perfect choice for a restful stay. A big thank you to Dino for the meticulous service throughout – knowing I'd been traveling long-distance, they prepared a comfortable room and thoughtful welcome drinks in advance, which really helped alleviate my travel fatigue. The hotel environment is quiet and private, the room felt luxurious, and the bedding was incredibly soft. The dining quality was consistently excellent, and the attention to detail truly showcased the hotel's high standards. It cured all my travel weariness, and the experience was simply impeccable.

The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the amenities were well-stocked, making for a very relaxing stay. The location is also incredibly convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The service was thoughtful, the room was spotless, and it was a truly comfortable stay. This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dalian, and I've already recommended it to all my friends.

Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, and the layout was cozy and comfortable, creating a great vibe for photos, perfect for a girls' trip. Throughout our stay, whenever we saw Lisa entering or exiting the hotel, she would always greet us with a smile. When we needed disposable items or extra bottles of water on short notice, we just mentioned it to the front desk, and Lisa would immediately help us out. Her attitude was consistently excellent – patient and thorough, never perfunctory. The hotel's cleaning staff were also very diligent, tidying the room on time every day, making the beds, replenishing supplies, and keeping everything spotless. Lisa is such a gentle, warm, and detail-oriented person who always puts guests first. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and down-to-earth, making our stay incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The Shangri-La's location is also very convenient, whether you're going to the airport or attractions. My bestie and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area!

Liaoning is the second hometown of our family of three. This time the child traveled by car from south to north during the winter vacation. After passing through Xingcheng, he found another treasure hotel: a brand new Hilton, the atmosphere of the suite is decorated, the large balcony, plus the sea view. Unfortunately, the nearby turf is still finishing the landscape. The scenery is slightly affected. The food is also good. I can’t take a picture of the room in a hurry, but I will definitely visit again during the summer vacation. Good hotel is recommended.
