Only thing was it's Abit on the low floor at level 8, where we saw the roof mostly. Otherwise all was good .
Didn't figure out how to use the hot water dispenser so end up bringing cold water to boil.
Overall the experience was good.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel! Had an add on of the breakfast at promotional price of 78 ringgit per pax and the buffet spread was awesome! The staff are courteous and welcoming, feel very warm each time we bump into them. There’s a pillow menu for you to choose & welcome cookies upon check in (very delicious)! The massage shop in the hotel called Swan Reflex was good and price is comparable with shops outside (had an additional discount for hotel guests). Hotel is about 10mins walk away from CIQ, abit difficult to walk now with the ongoing construction at the surrounding.

Location is good — very easy to grab around going KSL, mid valley. Room is Very spacious with large window of 2m. Shower pressure is good at 19th floor; but the bath tub leak(see picture ). Our bath towels look dirty and feel rough. Actually the bath mat looks cleaner and whiter than the bath towels.
Breakfast spread is good but taste so so.
Overall will recommend if you are not fussy. Most staffs are friendly.
We enjoyed our stay, this place is in great location. 10mins away from IKEA. Toppen, and AEON Tebrau City. Only 28mins away from Senai Airport. Overall great stay

Checked in late because of our flight timing, and we were given 2 single beds even though we booked for 1 king size bed quite some time ago because the hotel was fully booked out. However, they made sure that all the amenities were still provided.
The toilet’s basin makes a very loud noise whenever we wash our hands which was alarming at first but after awhile we got used to it.
It was a joint room as well, so you could hear very clearly the opposite side guests
It’s prob their spare room that they gave us because really no other choice.
Will consider staying again only if it’s not a massive PH so we won’t get the same room

While the rooms are clean and the location is excellent, our stay was not perfect which caused by several issues. There is no free parking; hotel guests are charged RM12 per day. Furthermore, the parking is managed by a third party, and despite providing our car plate number to the front desk, the system failed to recognize it. This resulted in us being stuck at the gantry for over five minutes while waiting for the intercom staff to verify our payment. We wanted to show the intercom staff the parking receipt issued by the hotel, but he insisted to call to confirm.
Additionally, there is a discrepancy in the hotel’s advertising regarding facilities. Although a sauna is listed, the front desk confirmed upon arrival that no such facility exists. This was quite disappointing as it felt like false advertising.

Overall, the view is great, and the room is clean and well-equipped with Netflix. The complex itself offers excellent amenities, perfect for a family vacation. However, the surrounding commercial area isn't fully developed. The permanent water stains on the bathroom sink and toilet were a bit off-putting, and there was a slight odor on the duvet near the nightstand in the master bedroom. The parking garage is huge, and I got a bit lost the first time. It’s essential to carefully review the provided documents beforehand to find a parking spot relatively easily. All in all, it’s a comfortable and pleasant place, ideal for families.

This is a nice apartment hotel with no room service nor lobby, suitable for families especially with kids. The place is clean when we checked in, and the diy checkin is quite intuitive wth good instructions. For its price during non-peak, there’s little to complain.
When it comes to peak though, prices soars, and the number of guests creates a jam at the lift access to the 39 floor apartment rooms. During our stay, one lift was down and with only 3/4 lifts, the waiting time during checkin and checkout is very very long. Hot water the shower is centralised and not reliable at all.
Due to its proximity to KSL Mall, size of the room, and its good price during non-peak, its a recommend, but don’t expect perfection here.
Location was outstanding - practically right smack in the middle of everything, from hotpots to karaokes, nightclubs / bars to Sutera Mall. Only issue we had was the lack of shampoo / shower gel, and the towels provided were not as clean as we expected. Soap dispenser was spoilt with no soap, so do bring your own! Otherwise, the rooms were the same as the photos you see.

A comfortable place for a hotel stay and its location is close to popular venues in JB city.
Breakfast spread is decent with a fair choice. Enjoyed the menu at its Chinese Imperial Paragon Cuisine restaurant.
While the assigned room was spacious, we were somewhat disappointed with the lingering strange odor on entering and a small window only.

YYuetming LowRoom service has room to improved. The 1st female rceptionist attended me on my check in has not taking my request seriously, I have to changed to another room & higher floor on my 2nd night and no smiling at all, not rude but seems not friendly. Overall the hotel is worth staying. The pillow quality & size need to upgrade, it's too hard & small.
JJust a casual travelerI was there for 3 nights, booking 2 rooms with queen size bed.
It was a less than satisfactory experience. I specifically requested for rooms away from elevators but they gave me 2 rooms that are right next to their employee elevator. So it means, the elevator is in between of the 2 rooms that I booked for my parents and I. No doubt, the employee elevator meant less activity but it's still next to the elevator where ppl could easily come up and down.
Secondly, we were unable to get the key card to open the door to the corner room that is for my parents. Took 1 trip down to concierge to inform them about the problem. They programmed the key card again and problem still exists. Only after I told them to relocate my parents to a different floor that they mentioned that the battery in the scanner of the door ran out so they have to get technician to change them. So, that left a bad impression from the getgo.
Thirdly, once we got on that floor, it smelled bad. I had to get housekeeping to spray air-freshener to get rid of the smell. I believe it from the drainage, where if water wasn't used or flushed down, it can start to smell. So my question was, how long was the room toilets not cleaned or flushed? If the rooms were occupied, surely it shouldn't smell.
Fourth, the pool was not what is expected of a hotel pool. Even a boutique hotel pool look better than that. But I don't care too much about pools as I am looking for good place to rest after spending a lot of time sightseeing when I'm traveling.
Fifth, noise insulation wasn't good. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring from my room. Let alone if the guest spoke loudly, I could hear.
The staff were polite and kind for the most part. One or 2 staff may not know certain things but they are probably new to the job and are on training. Not a big matter.
It is situated in a good location. It is 20-25 mins away from Johor city square. It is in a nice suburban neighbourhood, but within a commercial round area with a park in the middle. There is even a big Aeon Mall right opposite the hotel. Traffic isn't bad going into that area.
If you're looking to spend a lot of time in the room during your travel, this is not the one for you. If you want a comfortable room to rest for the night, this is good enough.

JJenniellEnjoyed a lovely one-night stay at Tunamaya Hotel Desaru 🌊✨ The room was spacious and comfortable with an amazing ocean view — definitely a big plus that all rooms face the sea! Although some parts of the room looked a little worn off, the overall stay was still very relaxing and pleasant.
The swimming pool was huge and perfect for chilling with family or friends. Breakfast was another highlight — lots of food choices and everything tasted really good 😋
Best part? The hotel has direct beach access, so it was super easy to enjoy the peaceful beach and catch a beautiful sunrise in the morning 🌅
MMFYDFAThis was our second stay since 2015, and while the rooms are spacious, the resort now feels dated. I was particularly upset by the cleaning policy; our room had no ”Do Not Disturb” signage provided, and housekeeping entered to clean while we were out for breakfast without our request.
As I prefer to secure my personal belongings before anyone enters, this lack of privacy was very uncomfortable. The resort has good beach access, but they must provide door tags and respect guest boundaries. A neutral experience overall compared to our first visit.
GGuest UserWe had high expectations for Anantara Desaru after hearing it’s one of the best hotels, but sadly the service didn’t really meet our expectations. Some staff were lovely, while some seemed quite moody. Nevertheless, the resort itself is beautiful just not much to do around the area, and even the kids club felt quite boring. After 4 days there…safe to say we probably won’t be coming back 🤣
TTwentyfirstmarchHad a short getaway with my family at The Westin and overall it was a pleasant stay.
🏨 Room:
The first room we were assigned wasn't cold enough, but the staff responded promptly and arranged a room change for us. Great service and smooth handling of the issue.
😴 Sleep Quality:
Had a really good night's sleep. The bed was super comfortable and definitely lived up to the Westin reputation.
🍳 Breakfast:
The breakfast spread wasn't particularly extensive, but it was decent and had all the essentials. Their nasi lemak was a standout. We also loved the chicken skewers from Kedidi.
📸 View:
8/10. Some of the views around the hotel are quite Instagram-worthy and make for great photos.
Overall, a comfortable stay with good service, quality bedding, and enjoyable food. Would definitely come back for another relaxing family staycation.
HHJ_ChaiOverall is satisfactory, the breakfast was with resort style with egg station, coffee station, noodles station, porridges station, grains, salads, drinks and main course station. Not allow to take coffee but you may always get drinking water at hotel and restaurant. The resort is very big, but dimmer compared to other resort. The only bad part is, the aircond in our room is leaking.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The facilities were quite good and well-maintained. The room was comfortable, although it looked a bit old and could benefit from some renovation.
One of the highlights was the complimentary movie service available in the room. The sound system was excellent, making it enjoyable to watch movies and relax after a long day.
The food quality was decent, but the variety of choices at breakfast and other meals was quite limited. It would be great to see more options offered in the future.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay with good facilities and entertainment, and I would consider staying here again.
