The room isn't huge, but it doesn't feel cramped either. The hygiene is excellent, and the customer service is warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The hotel is integrated with a shopping mall, which is super convenient for grabbing food, getting a massage, or a haircut. However, the massage within the hotel was a rip-off – the environment wasn't clean, and they cut corners on the service. It was supposed to be a 90-minute massage, but it ended in just 70 minutes.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel! Had an add on of the breakfast at promotional price of 78 ringgit per pax and the buffet spread was awesome! The staff are courteous and welcoming, feel very warm each time we bump into them. There’s a pillow menu for you to choose & welcome cookies upon check in (very delicious)! The massage shop in the hotel called Swan Reflex was good and price is comparable with shops outside (had an additional discount for hotel guests). Hotel is about 10mins walk away from CIQ, abit difficult to walk now with the ongoing construction at the surrounding.

Location is good — very easy to grab around going KSL, mid valley. Room is Very spacious with large window of 2m. Shower pressure is good at 19th floor; but the bath tub leak(see picture ). Our bath towels look dirty and feel rough. Actually the bath mat looks cleaner and whiter than the bath towels. Breakfast spread is good but taste so so. Overall will recommend if you are not fussy. Most staffs are friendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at KSL Hot Spring Resort! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our room was spacious, spotless and well-maintained. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and refreshing even on hot days. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows and linens were soft and clean, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The staff at KSL Hot Spring Resort were friendly, attentive and always willing to help with any request, which made our stay completely hassle-free. The carpark was convenient and easy to access, making arrival and departure stress-free. Add on, the swimming pool is shared with other residents and the water was cold. Overall, our experience at KSL Hot Spring Resort was pleasant and comfortable but we would note that this hotel may not be suitable for guests with very high expectations. It’s perfect for those looking for a simple, relaxing getaway without expecting luxury. The combination of clean and comfortable rooms, relaxing hot springs, convenient carpark and warm hospitality made our stay memorable. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a casual and enjoyable experience!

Having stayed at Holiday Villa numerous times, I keep returning for one simple reason: consistency. It has become my go-to choice for trips to Johor Bahru, and it continues to deliver a reliable experience. Why I keep coming back:  Prime Location: Being located directly opposite KSL City Mall is incredibly convenient. You have immediate access to shopping, dining, and the cinema without the need to navigate heavy traffic or deal with long walks.  Hassle-Free Parking: This is a major selling point. Between the ease of self-parking and the convenience of the valet service (at a reasonable RM35), arrival and departure are always stress-free compared to the often chaotic access at the mall side.  Solid Breakfast: The breakfast variety is surprisingly good, with a nice spread that offers a solid start to the day. A Note on Value: I am fully aware that the room rates here are generally higher than at KSL Hotel. While it is a bit more of a premium, I find that the extra cost is absolutely justified by the seamless parking experience, the slightly quieter environment, and the overall maintenance of the property. Verdict: If you value efficiency, ease of access, and a hassle-free stay, the slight price premium is worth every penny. I will definitely be returning.

The Amari Hotel in Johor Bahru is located in a very strategic and convenient area. Most major facilities and shopping complexes are within a 10‑minute walking distance, making it easy to access food, retail, and entertainment without needing transportation. Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel maintains good cleanliness standards. However, some moss can still be found on the windows, especially those facing the swimming pool. Despite this minor issue, the general cleanliness of the hotel is satisfactory. Internet Connection: The Wi‑Fi connection is not stable. It frequently disconnects, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on a steady internet connection. Parking: Parking is not free. Guests are charged RM12 per day with multiple entry allowed. However, parking is complimentary if the booking is made directly with the hotel.

I would mostly stay at R&F Seine Region condo whenever I stay in JB for few nights. It is value for money for convenience as it is nearby CIQ (8-10mins walk) and equipped with amenities like a shopping mall, R&F mall and many other shops within the estate itself. There’s also many options on Grab delivery for that area. The facilities at level 8 such as gym, fitness area, playground and swimming pool are perfect for families to utilise during the stay. This unit at B2-2 by Nest Home is nicely renovated, well furnished and has an amazing sea view of the straits from the balcony and bedroom. It is my first time at this unit. Having tried many other units at R&F, this unit by Nest Home is by far the best for its worth and value for money. There’s bidet in the toilet, kitchen tools such as kitchen scissors and knives and warm and hot water dispenser for use. Besides its owner’s hospitality, they have a friendly service. They checked in with me even before my trip and they were readily available on WhatsApp for contact.

The apartment is clean, neat and well maintained. Furniture, beds, sofa, television are good enough for use.  4 queen size beds are provided for 8 person use.  Basic amenities are available too.  There are many food options around this location.  The only issue is that the 2 access card failed to allow the lift to open to unit 33-06.  We had to seek help from the booking office and security guard to look into this lift accessibility issue and it took half an hour each time to resolve it.  The owner has to resolve the access card problem to avoid lift accessibility issue.

I was skeptical at first to stay in this hotel looking at the past reviews. To my surprise, not only the location was good, the hotel room was in very good condition too. We enjoyed our stay in Cel hotel. Not forgetting the friendly staffs at the counter too. Do not forget to bring along cash RM50 to place as deposit upon check-in which will be refunded upon check-out. We will chose to stay here if we can to this area again next time. The location is considered good as it is within 10min walking distance from KsL shopping mall. The view from the room is also nice. The room is quite big with a comfortable bed and large tv with many channels. However the toilet bowl is not very good as gets clogged easily. Overall a comfortable stay.
