Always my go-to hotel whenever I go to Melaka. Love the amenities, convenience, food and service. However, this time round the check in staff wasn't so helpful in assigning me my requested high floor despite my early check-in processing first before getting the keys at 3pm. I approached her again at key collection time at 3pm, yet she dud nothing on my request. I wiuld say her service was too perfunctory and mechanical for a first contact point counter staff. This is not the same good service I used to received countless times from other past visits. Hope the managrment step up her training before she tarnish the hotel reputation.

We had a truly memorable stay at the Majestic Malacca. The ambiance was absolutely charming, reflecting a beautiful blend of heritage and comfort. Our room offered a serene retreat, and the service provided by the staff was consistently attentive and gracious. Dining at the hotel was a delightful experience, with exquisite flavors and presentation. We wholeheartedly recommend the Majestic Malacca for a wonderful and elegant getaway.

The fragrant lemongrass aroma welcomed us, and we were immediately captivated. With excellent front office service, a very peaceful environment, and a super comfortable room. We initially booked for just one night, but ended up extending our stay to two nights.
Thank you for the excellent service. We will definitely be back.
Highly recommended. Especially the fragrant lemongrass scent... ๐๐๐๐๐
Great location and clean rooms with excellent service. The immediate surroundings were a bit chaotic, and having to go to the front desk every time to validate parking was a minor inconvenience, but everything else was perfect!

It was a great staycation at Birkin Int. Hotel. But the sound proof of the room is bad. Middle of the night, we can still hear the motorcycling and the fun fair noise affected my sleep so bad. But overall still good. Will come back again and hope they will do some soundproofing on their balcony sliding door.
The room was a bit old-fashioned. The window was small and the bathroom sink was tiny, though the shower was decent. Breakfast was just okay and required walking to a separate building. It was also very crowded, with many tour groups. There's no sidewalk directly outside the hotel, so you need to be careful when walking out. It's not close to the main attractions, so if you're not big on walking, you might want to think twice before booking.
The hotel very convenient for walk to Josker street, the nearby have a lot delicious food for restaurants and coffee shop . And the breakfast also good food. The hotel inside have a lot antique Nyonya and baba culture thing .

Stayed here and overall it was a mixed experience. The hotel is old, but I have to give credit to the housekeeping team as the cleanliness is well maintained throughout the stay.
The location is not the most strategic, but still manageable. It is within walking distance to Jonker Street and several tourist attractions like A Famosa, Stadthuys, Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum, and the Melaka Ship Museum, which is quite convenient for sightseeing.
However, there were a few downsides. We booked a king size bed but ended up with two single beds combined. Unfortunately, one of the beds had a faulty spring, which caused some discomfort during sleep.
In terms of pricing, it feels slightly on the higher side considering the condition of the hotel and the issues experienced.
Overall, acceptable for a short stay, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in room quality and value for money.

The room facilities are a bit old. The air conditioning was very powerful, but also quite noisy. We stayed during Chinese New Year and even received a red envelope with 80 cents in coins inside! The hotel's location is good; you can walk to the core tourist area of Malacca, about a ten-minute stroll to Jonker Street.

CcargirlThe room was spacious and right by the Malacca River โ opening the window to that view, wow, it was incredible! We could even dine on the balcony, which was so relaxing. The service was excellent; we received a welcome gift with ice balls and fruit upon check-in. It's also super close to all the Malacca attractions. The only thing was that the hotel staff only spoke English, so I had to stumble through my words. Luckily, my private driver and photographer helped me out. I really need to work on my English for next time, haha! We took some beautiful Nyonya costume photos here!
