Overall, we had a really good stay at Tanjung Jara Resort.
The room was super spacious, the food was good, and the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
A few things could be improved though. The TV was quite limited, with only a few channels available, and apps like Netflix and other streaming apps were blocked, so there wasn’t much you could do with it. The buggy service from the car park to the room was also not available directly, you have to go to the lobby first before you can request a buggy.
Sadly, there was no turtle hatching activity during our 2-night stay, which we were really hoping to experience.
It would also be great if the resort could add more lighting around the hotel area, especially at night, as some areas can feel quite dark.
For families with children, I think the game room could be bigger, with more activities and a wider selection of games, including more games specifically for younger children. Having more family-friendly activities around the resort would make the stay even better.
Another small but useful improvement would be to have water taps or foot-washing stations near the beach access areas, so guests can easily rinse off the sand before heading back to the room.
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would surely come back again.
