Highly Disappointing Experience with Zam Zam Pullman
Our recent stay (dec 2025) at this hotel was significantly below expectations, particularly for an establishment advertised as a five-star property. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not reflect the room standard associated with such a rating. Room given to us was 2 star!!
Room Quality:
The room had a noticeable damp odor upon arrival, and the bathroom was of very poor quality, see attached images. Although we had paid for accommodation for four adults, we were assigned a room prepared for only two. Essential amenities were insufficient, with only two towels, two tea bags, and two glasses provided. Furthermore, room service appeared to be completely unavailable throughout our stay.
Service:
Service efficiency was severely lacking. During checkout, we experienced an unacceptable delay, waiting approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes for our luggage to be collected from the room. Such delays are highly unprofessional and inconvenient for guests.
Accessibility:
During peak hours, it took 10–12 minutes for lifts to reach Al Haram, causing considerable frustration.
In summary, the hotel did not meet the standards expected of a five-star property, and I cannot recommend it based on our experience.
