Nuanu Creative City

Nuanu Creative City is a massive urban development project nestled on the southwest coast of Bali in the Tabanan regency. It is envisioned as an innovative, multi-purpose city of the future where art, culture, technology, sustainability, and local community life seamlessly intertwine. The name "Nuanu" translates to "in the process," symbolizing the concept of continuous spatial evolution. The project is built upon five core pillars: education, arts and culture, nature, wellness, and lifestyle. Founded by Russian entrepreneur Sergey Solonin—the mastermind behind QIWI, Aviasales, and other ventures—Nuanu has already secured over $150 million in development investments. The core vision is to cultivate a harmonious ecosystem where people can do more than just vacation; they can live, work, and thrive in perfect harmony with nature. The project is billed as a "smart city," putting a heavy emphasis on energy efficiency, waste management, and leaving a minimal environmental footprint. Spanning approximately 44 hectares, the grounds already feature a diverse array of zones and attractions: Arts and Culture: Discover art and multimedia installations, galleries, and performance spaces. A standout attraction is the "Earth Sentinels" installation by South African artist Daniel Popper, which has become the iconic visual symbol of Nuanu. Wellness and Leisure: Unwind at the Lumeira Wellness Complex, home to one of the world's largest wood-fired dome saunas, or experience the Luna Beach Club, offering sweeping panoramic views and live music events. You can also drop by Block42, a dynamic multi-use complex featuring a cafe, radio station, library, and creative studios. Family-Friendly Fun: Families will love the Pacha Alpaca park, the Jungle Kids zone complete with workshops and a playground, and the ProEd Global Nuanu international school, which offers personalized learning experiences. Accommodation: Stay at the beachfront Oshom Bali boutique hotel or the centrally located Nuanu Suites & Accommodations within the city limits. Eco-Friendly Initiatives: A commitment to sustainability is evident, with 70% of the land preserved as lush green spaces, over 15,000 trees planted, and comprehensive waste recycling programs in place. Nuanu boasts a highly convenient location: just about an hour's drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, a quick 10-minute trip to the iconic Tanah Lot temple, and only 20 minutes from the bustling Canggu area. Eco-friendly electric shuttles make getting around the property a breeze, and ample parking is available for guests.

There is a place in Bali where you can spend the day at a unique beach club with water slides, visit a beautiful spa, have dinner at a restaurant surrounded by art installations, and end your evening in a glowing multimedia park. This is Nuanu Creative City—a creative hub near Seseh, about 20 minutes from Canggu when there’s no heavy traffic. We live nearby and often recommend Nuanu to friends. Here is what’s worth seeing. 1. LUNA Beach Club A unique beach club with pools, water slides, and futuristic architecture. You can rent a daybed, swim, have lunch, and spend a few hours by the ocean. 2. LUMMERA An immersive space where art meets technology. It’s perfect for those who love unusual visual installations and interactive exhibitions. 3. Lumeira Spa A stunningly designed spa. It’s a great option if you want to add a few hours of relaxation to your visit. It’s better to book treatments in advance. 4. ASH One of my favorite restaurants in Nuanu. I love both the food and the atmosphere. I’d save it for lunch or dinner. 5. Aurora Media Park The most interesting part begins after dark. Aurora is a multimedia park featuring light installations, sound, and a walking path along the river. I’d set aside about 1–1.5 hours for a visit. How I would spend a day in Nuanu · 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: LUNA Beach Club. · 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: LUMMERA or Lumeira Spa. · 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner at ASH. · After 7:00 PM: Aurora Media Park. The venue also hosts exhibitions, events, and festivals, so it’s worth checking the schedule before you go. What you need to know: Different spaces within Nuanu may have separate tickets, entry conditions, and booking requirements. If you want to visit several places at once, it’s best to check the schedule and prices for your chosen date in advance. I’d recommend dedicating a whole day to Nuanu—there’s enough to see that you won’t want to rush, and it’s worth staying until the evening.

Nuanu Creative City - I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of this place! Highly recommend checking it out at night! To save you the hassle of looking for a place to crash, you can conveniently book a hotel right inside the park! Located in Tabanan, right on the oceanfront. It features an atmospheric art zone, a jungle, zoo, garden, playground, swimming pools, a water slide, craft workshops, a DJ at the beach club, restaurants, free transportation around the grounds, and a premium spa. A night in a Hobbit-style hut room costs under $100, and that includes a fantastic breakfast.

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my experience at Lumeira Wellness in Nuanu City. I spent over 5 hours here, and the vibe was incredible. They offer thermal pools, wet and dry saunas, a cold plunge, and even wellness dining—I ended up ordering more than two coconuts! 😝 It’s super peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life. On weekends, they host group Parenia sessions, which is a Slavic steam ritual led by their master in a sacred dome. The combination of steam, heat, herbal scents, and cooling phases creates a full-body reset unlike any wellness treatment I’ve ever tried. It was absolutely worth it. Everything about this place felt intentional, from the calming atmosphere to the little details throughout the experience. It didn’t feel like a typical spa or wellness treatment; it felt much more personal and meaningful. Do yourself a favor—I’m already thinking about when I can come back!
