Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Tianhe

The only upside to staying here, besides the free parking at Zhengjia Plaza, is a mystery to me. The facilities are incredibly dated, and the service is practically non-existent – they even seemed annoyed. It feels like this hotel has no management whatsoever. They're clearly banking on the prime location to justify the inflated prices. I actually chuckled imagining foreign tourists staying here; it's like a trip back to the last century. I asked about food delivery and was told there were no robots, so I went down to pick it up myself, only to find robots there! They completely ignored my request for a room close to the elevator because I had luggage. Seriously, what kind of guest gets to experience even basic service at this hotel? Or perhaps there isn't any at all, which would at least make the terrible service consistent for everyone. It’s incredibly mismanaged. If you're looking to pay over a thousand yuan for a budget hotel experience, feel free to give it a try.

It's right next to Zhengjia Plaza, check-in at the front desk was quick, and parking was convenient. Overall, a great stay, five-star rating!
