Hotels near Canton Tower, Guangzhou

This is my second stay at Mercure Beijing Road, and the experience was fantastic! The hotel is located in the heart of Beijing Road, making it convenient for taxis and easily accessible. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Dafo Temple, and there are many great restaurants nearby like Tao Tao Ju, Da Ge Fan, and Fan Lou for dim sum. It's lively yet surprisingly quiet. From the 23rd floor, you can see the beautifully lit night view of Dafo Temple! The hotel's interior is clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – my whole family slept soundly. I highly recommend Mercure, and I will definitely choose it again on my next trip to Guangzhou!

The room was clean and the bedding was so soft, like sinking into a cloud. It's a 900-meter walk to Renhe subway station, and you can take Line 3 directly to Zhujiang New Town. In the lobby, black tea, green tea, juice, and cookies are available all day, so having a cup of tea while waiting for your ride is really pleasant. For breakfast, they have freshly cooked noodles and vermicelli, which taste great.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff, especially the housekeeping team and front office, were friendly, professional, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. The location is another great advantage. It’s conveniently situated within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping malls, making it easy to find food, shop, and explore the area without needing transportation.

The staff in the hotel are super friendly and helpful. They helped me with a lot of things like booking ordering and even talking to people on the phone. Special thanks to Cici, Youwen and Eric for being there whenever I needed to understand something with applications or places, as well as Lehleh who even went outside the hotel to help me buy things and hail a taxi. The staff even helped me order food to the hotel at 3AM when I couldn't sleep 🥹 I was really happy with my stay especially it is my first time in China and my first days. I was really nervous but they helped me a lot ☺️🤍 I recommend starting your trip with this hotel so you'll be set for the journey 🌸☺️

The location of this hotel is undeniable great as it is just walking distance to many eateries and 四海城 also opposite to Wanda shopping mall and many happening places to hang out at night and shop. I choose this hotel because of its location and their good review, the service of the staff at the counter was excellent for the first night when we arrive, they help us to carry our luggage and manage it to the room, we were extremely satisfied for the first night. The location was good and the room was spacious, the ammenities in the room is quite old, the washing machine looks like a 20 years old machine which we turn it on everytime the sounds came out from the toilet looks like the machine is going to breakdown, we had to keep the door close when we use the washing machine. The dryer is located outside of the passage way and we first time seeing the old school dryer with a wardrobe and a hot blower at the bottom to dry the clothes. Anyway we just tolerate as the location was good and the room was clean, until the next day we went down to the lobby and requested the reception to help us to order something and they were kind and helpful and after a favour of helping us they requested us the write a review abt the hotel and I said ok and I will do it the next day when I checkout, We were satisfied even though the facilities was abit old and the fridge was not turn on and our cakes were all spoilt the next day. The next day when we were going to checkout, the same reception staff at the lobby saw us and was smiling and helpful to us and the next moment she again asked if we could write a review now immediately, I say ok and she continue to say that make sure the review has to be 5 star review and if not it will be penalized. I was shocked as even all the old amenities and things in the room I wanted to give a 4 star review with 5 star for the location and 3 star on the amenities as I wanted to have my view to reflect my own experience. Then she continued to explain if the review from me is not 5 star all the staff will be penalized. Then I honesty told her that I apologize and I do not feel that I will give a 5 star rating as I probably do not experience a 5 star service and facilities in the hotel, I would prefer to give a honest review. Then the moment when she heard that, she replied me that in that case pls do not need to review thanks, then I say ok that’s fine and from that onwards they do not smile at us or being helpful to us anymore and it was a total change, we transferred our luggge down the lobby with 5 luggages including boxes, they offer no help at all like the first day, we were waiting at the lobby and when our car arrive we carried the luggages ourselves and they stood at the lobby with no eye contact and no friendly attitude to us even without greeting us like the first day during our arrival or before they request for the review. I felt a very bad experience with the staff who responded to us in that manner just because we are not giving a 5 star review to them, which I honestly felt a review should be an honest opinion to the rest so that it could help travelers like us before validating an accommodation before booking, which is why now I u begin to understand that the review when we read from the hotel before our booking wasn’t genuine and I read all good review with 5 star and hence i booked the hotel at Xena and I didn’t expect that the reviews all came with an dishonest review and I believe this is not something that a traveler needs before they start booking for their next trip. I hope trip.com would be able to filter all the ingenuity of 5 start which came from the pressure of receptionist of the hotel.

I was so lucky to book this hotel for my business trip to Tianhe Commercial District! The location is absolutely perfect; it's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining, which made getting around super efficient. The hotel lobby is decorated in a simple yet grand style, and it's kept very clean and bright. The overall atmosphere upon entering is really comfortable, not at all stuffy. They even have robots that can deliver items and water, so you don't have to keep going back and forth to the front desk – it's really smart and convenient. The room itself is very well-maintained, and the cleanliness is impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. The facilities are also comprehensive, and the most thoughtful touch is the mini-fridge. It's so practical for storing drinks and fruits, especially when staying in the summer. The staff's service attitude is excellent, and they are very efficient. The overall environment is quiet and peaceful; even though it's in a bustling commercial area, you can't hear any outside noise in the room. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. This hotel has definitely been added to my regular list, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I'm in Tianhe.

This ECharm Hotel near Nanzhou Subway Station was such a pleasant surprise! The location is fantastic, making getting around a breeze. The room was meticulously clean, and all the facilities were new and worked perfectly. The service was warm and attentive, the environment was quiet, and the price was excellent. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience and definitely worth coming back to.

My overall stay was quite good, meeting my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The location was convenient for getting around, and the public areas were well-maintained and spotless. The thoughtful details and excellent value for money made for a relaxing and peaceful stay. My stay at the Guangzhou Estanton Hotel was absolutely perfect, a definite five-star experience! The front desk staff were attentive and polite, and my room was clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom even had a large bathtub. The soundproofing was excellent. The hotel has its own swimming pool and gym, and the breakfast spread was diverse and plentiful, with everything from Cantonese dim sum to Western-style light meals. The location is convenient, not far from the subway, making travel easy. The public areas are well-maintained, with an elegant and quiet atmosphere. It’s suitable for both business trips and leisure stays, offering fantastic value for money. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou. Highly recommended to everyone!

They offer a dedicated shuttle service, breakfast, and a swimming pool. For this price, it's definitely the best value for money. They even stored our luggage until our evening flight. I haven't left the hotel yet, but I feel I can already leave a review for the service.
