Atour Hotel (Beijing West Railway Station South Square)

It's rare to find a hotel with such complete amenities around West Station! It has a 24-hour self-service laundry room with a washer-dryer combo, and a small gym, which is especially practical for long business trips. The room has plenty of outlets and stable internet, making it suitable for both work and leisure. The location is excellent, making it a top choice for business travelers. The pillows are just the right height, and the bedding is comfortable. The hygiene is also very good.

Terrible review!!! This is the first time I've ever left a negative review, and I've stayed in countless hotels for business trips. This hotel completely fails to meet the standards expected of an Atour business hotel. I booked last-minute and checked in around 11 PM. The front desk assigned me a room at the very end of a long corridor, which took several turns to reach. While an end room isn't ideal, what really annoyed me was that during the entire check-in process, they never bothered to mention that the room was in an inconvenient location or that the blackout curtains were severely lacking. I can accept a room being a bit out of the way, but the curtains provided practically zero blackout. As you can see in the picture, it was just a single, thin layer. It did almost nothing to block out light. I was woken up by the sunlight as soon as dawn broke and couldn't get proper rest. I genuinely don't understand why a hotel would design such useless curtains. For a hotel primarily catering to business travelers, most guests need good rest and a solid night's sleep. Blackout curtains are a fundamental necessity. The front desk clearly knew about this significant flaw but didn't warn me in advance, showing a complete lack of service awareness and consideration for guests. Since it was late at night, I didn't want the hassle of switching rooms and had to make do for one night. My experience was severely downgraded, and my need for rest was completely unfulfilled. I would not recommend this hotel to light sleepers or those who need quiet recovery. At nearly 600 yuan a night, the value for money is extremely low. I won't be returning!

It's super close to Beijing West Railway Station, and the room is really quiet. The laundry room, gym, and other facilities are all well-equipped. The breakfast is also incredibly rich. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. Just a small suggestion: it would be better if the gas mask was placed on the upper shelf of the cabinet. That way, it's easier to see and access.

The hotel's location is decent, quite close to Beijing West Railway Station. The decor is a bit dated, but it's generally quiet. Other facilities are on the third floor, but the layout is a bit convoluted, making it a maze to get there. Breakfast is just okay.

Absolutely fantastic! We arrived a bit after 2 PM and they immediately arranged for our check-in. Since we have a small child and needed a bed rail installed, they even upgraded our room. Later that evening, around 10 PM, after we returned from sightseeing, they helped us install the bed rail. The overall cleanliness was impeccable, and the toiletries provided were all of great quality and very pleasant to use. We had two large suitcases, a child, and a stroller, and they even helped us bring all our luggage up to the room during check-in. It was such a thoughtful and considerate gesture, truly a very satisfying experience. The bathrobes were very plush and excellent quality, super comfortable to wear.

The front desk service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The fruit tea in the lobby was delicious and refreshing. The TV in the room was huge, like watching a movie. Atour's mattresses and pillows are always just right, significantly improving our sleep quality. For Dragon Boat Festival, they even specially gifted us souvenirs and a plate of fruit, which my child loved. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, plenty of dining options, and a lively atmosphere.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was rich and varied. It's especially convenient for those who need to catch an early train from Beijing West Railway Station. Highly recommended!

I rarely write lengthy negative reviews, but this hotel room was very old and had an unpleasant smell. The hotel breakfast was awful – limited variety and poor quality. By 8 AM, the noodle station was already out of noodles and they weren't refilled. The chef there was unresponsive and dismissive, and even the watermelon wasn't fresh. The signage around the hotel used strange, pretentious terms – why 'Xiang Zhao' instead of simply 'restaurant,' or 'Han Chu' instead of 'gym'? It feels out of touch and affected. Compared to similar hotels nearby, everything except the price was subpar.
