Kasuga Hotel

Forgot to take photos, but this hotel exceeded my expectations! I've always had a slight apprehension about Japanese hotels being small, but this one was surprisingly spacious. The room was fully equipped with amenities, including two air conditioners and a leg massager, which was great for relieving fatigue. The toiletries were a full set of POLA products, and the breakfast was very refined. The only thing that could be improved is that each person only gets one bottle of mineral water per night. Of course, the hotel's location is superb, right between Kintetsu Nara Station and Kofukuji Temple, which is a must-pass route for tourists heading to Nara Park.

A typical Japanese hotel with a spacious room and a separate toilet, bath, and sink area, allowing for a relaxing soak. The hotel also offers a free public onsen. The skincare products provided are by Pola. Breakfast is incredibly varied and changes daily, including a self-service natto bar. Snacks are also available. The service was almost *too* good – I came back for a nap midday to find the futon on the tatami mat had been put away, leaving me to lie on the hard floor. In the evening, two ladies came to make up the beds, and we had to quickly step out.

The location of Kasuga Hotel is fantastic, right next to Nara Park, and close to Nara Station and a main shopping street. Major attractions like Todaiji Temple are just a 10-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient! The rooms are spacious, the facilities are excellent, and the service is great! Highly recommend!

The room is incredibly spacious, featuring three beds and a generous floor futon. It certainly lives up to its premium price tag (3000+). This Japanese-style tatami room comes with dual air conditioning, and the view from the window is quite lovely. There's also a communal hot spring bath. Kimonos and geta (wooden clogs) are provided, and you're welcome to wear them around the premises. They even thoughtfully provide a leg massager.

**Facilities:** Excellent and very well-equipped, plus they offer a fantastic, extensive breakfast spread. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean! **Location:** You can see deer just a few steps outside the door, and it's incredibly convenient, being very close to the station. **Service:** The staff were incredibly patient, thoroughly explaining all the check-in information and important details. I absolutely loved my stay! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nara!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to Nara Kintetsu Station and surrounded by numerous restaurants offering a diverse range of food options. It's also very near Nara Park, where you can easily spot the deer with just a short walk. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the meals served were also of good quality. A minor point for improvement would be the hallway carpets, which could use more frequent cleaning. The onsen (hot spring) facilities were also excellent and very clean. However, the mineral concentration of the hot spring water felt a bit low!

Excellent location, very convenient for all the main attractions. The service was attentive and thoughtful.
