The Lind Boracay

The overall environment is quite good, and the hotel has a private beach, which is very close to the sea and suitable for families with children. There are also several swimming pools, but they are all quite small. The original price was around 1700. Initially, they assigned me a room right next to the elevator, with no sea view at all. I was very dissatisfied. The staff member went to report it, saying there were no other rooms available and I could switch the next day. After contacting Trip.com, they reluctantly agreed to an upgrade. Their initial attitude was really problematic. I'm glad I insisted and didn't just accept it. The hotel offers a shuttle to D'Mall, but the schedule is infrequent. Breakfast was quite rich, and the service was excellent. There were many Chinese and Koreans staying there. Now for some downsides: the hotel layout is very confusing, like a maze from the front desk to the beach. Secondly, the gym is too small, almost non-existent. Thirdly, the sea breeze was really strong. Lastly, I ordered food once at the hotel, and honestly, the taste was just mediocre. Overall, for a price of around 2000, the beach room is worth it, but the sea view room they initially offered me was definitely not worth the price.

Top-notch beach: The hotel is right on S1 White Beach, where the sand quality is often described by guests as 'flour sand' – incredibly fine and comfortable. It's one of the best beaches on Boracay, perfect for families with kids or anyone seeking an ultimate beach experience. Unbeatable views: The rooftop infinity pool is a must-visit spot, offering direct sunset views and making for fantastic photos. The view from the restaurant's glass doors is also like a beautiful painting. However, the breakfast selection is limited and doesn't change much for consecutive stays.

It's been a month since I got back, and today I'm finally writing a review for The Lind Boracay. My photos are in order. First, the meticulous and patient pick-up service. After exiting the airport, it was a seamless process: the hotel's business van took us to the pier, then after completing the island check-in procedures, we took the hotel's speedboat, followed by another short ride in the hotel's private business van, directly to the hotel for check-in. The staff at check-in were all warm, smiling, and provided detailed information. 💛 Upon arriving at the room, there was a complimentary bottle of drink, a piece of cake, a lovely canvas bag, some snacks, and drinking water. The hotel restaurant was excellent; we had two full meals there, and we loved all the dishes and drinks we ordered. There was a resident singer who sang exceptionally well! 👍 The breakfast was also good, and it's worth mentioning that our return flight was at 7 AM, so we checked out at 4:30 AM. The staff prepared breakfast for us to take away, and it wasn't a half-hearted effort at all – a box of bacon and scrambled eggs with sausages, a fruit box with four or five different fruits, and hot coffee. It was truly heartwarming! 🥰 1 The hotel's private beach was beautiful and uncrowded, so we didn't have to worry about throngs of people when taking photos. The infinity pool also gave us a wonderful vacation experience. Many thanks to all the staff at The Lind Boracay for their warm and friendly service. Facilities: The room was quite small and didn't have a smart toilet. The lighting was insufficient, making the room very dim at night. Apart from one elevator spot, getting around mostly involved stairs. Upon arrival, the small entrance and stairs were quite a surprise. Seeing the staff constantly hauling luggage, it must be exhausting. Environment: The glass sea outside the hotel is beautiful, and the infinity pool offers excellent views. Cleanliness: The breakfast tables were sticky – it felt like they hadn't been properly wiped after the previous use. The flat white I ordered at the bar often came with dirty stains on the rim where you drink, yet the cups by the coffee machine inside were perfectly clean. Breakfast: Previous reviews raved about the coffee, but it tasted no different from machine-made. Even the most basic items like bread, pastries, and hash browns were unappetizing, which was disappointing. Service: The service was absolutely five-star. This was the best part of the stay, besides the scenery. When my child accidentally fell, the front desk staff immediately came to help, called for medical assistance, and periodically checked on us. I'm incredibly grateful for their thoughtfulness. Every staff member we encountered greeted us, making us feel genuinely welcome. The staff by the pool and at the beach chairs were always prompt in changing towels, tidying chairs, enthusiastically providing ice water, and even offered small drinks and snacks from time to time. Truly excellent. Suggestions: Since reviews for all the top hotels on the island varied, I hesitated for a long time about which one to choose. In the end, I decided to try a few different hotels to experience different styles, so I only booked one night at Lind. I had just checked in that afternoon and was enjoying the welcome drink, only to find a note on the bed that evening saying goodbye and reminding me of the check-out time. This felt very strange – hadn't I just been welcomed? The night wasn't even over yet. Also, before my arrival, I kept receiving emails requesting information, but after providing it, there was no synchronized reply or follow-up. Then, I would receive another email asking for the same information again. This aspect was quite disorganized and I hope it can be improved.

The hotel's location is at the beginning of S1. It's about a 25-minute walk from the beach to Dmall. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially a gentleman named Bryen Lin at the front desk who provided us with a lot of help. Breakfast is decent. The white beach is right in front of the hotel, offering good privacy. This hotel was previously Friday and has been renovated and reopened. It was a great vacation experience. For room selection, I recommend requesting a room on the 3rd or 4th floor for a better sea view.

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel provided transfers from the airport to the pier and then to the hotel, so I didn't have to worry much about logistics. The only hiccup was that they forgot one of my suitcases on the boat when I was leaving... The room itself was quite nice, and there was a welcome gift. Breakfast was also quite plentiful. Remember to bring cash as the deposit is 5000 pesos per day, and getting your cash deposit back at checkout is the most convenient option.
